President Obama is taking a 15-day vacation in Martha’s Vineyard next month, despite the widespread criticism he’s received for not visiting the U.S.-Mexico border while it descends into chaos.
The Obamas will leave Washington on Saturday, Aug. 9, and stay at a $12 million vacation home in Martha’s Vineyard until Sunday, Aug. 24, the White House confirmed late Wednesday.
The president is expected to return to Chilmark and stay in a secluded house off North Road that overlooks the north shore and Vineyard Sound, the Martha’s Vineyard Times reported.
Though not confirmed by the White House, the Obamas are expected to stay at the home of Joanne Hubschman at 72 Gosnold’s Way off Prospect Hill Road.

Oh yeah and a friend of mine in Austin said he held up traffic all morning for yet ANOTHER fundraiser! That’s all he does is go to fundraisers, hang out play pool, and have photo-ops.
He couldn't do it if just about everyone with any authority didn't enable him. There's no reason for border governors to not have called up the national guard. Obama will slink away to other outrages if anyone actually stands up to him.

Perry seems to care, at least about this mess.
Good thing Barry is headed to Martha’s Vineyard. There aren’t many, if any, illegal aliens there, and he won’t have to concern himself with any such problems.
Send all of the illegal alien chirren to Martha’s Vineyard.
Wow the second negative expression to the Usurper. First one was the LOOK from Dick Cheney, now Texas Governor Perry has a not so happy look.
Good Lord, that image reminds me of those trains in India where people are so compacted in the train and has people hanging onto dear life on the outside of the train and on top of it. We may see this here soon.
That train DOES look like it’s in India. Would like to see some actual photos of this train in Mexico that was supposed to have derailed. The one showing on Drudge, IMHO, looks like it’s from somewhere else.
This is just unreal.
Could be an optics problem for Obama.
He’s just flipping off the citizens of The United States.
