Barack Obama, Ben Shapiro, lambasted the Obama administration’s “anti-Israel,” “borderline Jew-hating” policies in an appearance on the Thursday broadcast of Fox’s “The Kelly File.” He criticized the president for failing to attach any conditions for aid to the Palestinian Authority, despite the fact that terrorist organization Hamas is a part of the unity government. He stated “we are currently funding a terror group...they're currently firing rockets at Israel and our taxpayer dollars are going to that government.”

Probably a bit over the top, I think his sympathy for Islam, including terrorists, and undifferentiated sympathy for the "underdog" are bigger issues. And on a personal level he hates people who disagree with him, which means he hates conservatives. If Israel had a liberal government, relations would appear better. IMO they wouldn't be, but liberals would disagree. Add to that what I perceive as a level of perceived intimidation in his rare contacts with Bibi, likely because of his life history and more commanding presence, relations aren't going to be good. BTW, I think he has the same intimidation dealing with Putin, and likely any world leader with an accomplished background. Which includes most of them, leadership positions aren't usually reached with nothing more than political talent.
