Between Dec 2010 and Nov 2013, the Catholic Charities Diocese of Galveston received $15,549,078 in federal grants from Health & Human Services for “Unaccompanied Alien Children Project” with a program description of “Refugee and Entry Assistance.”
Last year, the Catholic Charities Diocese of Fort Worth received $350,000 from Department of Homeland Security for “citizenship and education training” with a program description of “citizenship and immigration services.”
Between September 2010 and September 2013, the Catholic Charities of Dallas received $823,658 from the Department of Homeland Security for “Citizenship Education Training” for “refugee and entrant assistance.”
From Dec 2012 to January 2014, Baptist Child & Family Services received $62,111,126 in federal grants from Health & Human Services for “Unaccompanied Alien Children Program.”

I understand the Writers point but the Right thing to do is to ensure Lives are not lost, to be Humble, and do all we can as individuals. At the same time We should be FORCING our Government to do their Constitutional Duty to Defend us against this Invasion, it has nothing to do with Immigration because there ARE Laws for that and People can Immigrate, they Cannot Invade! I do support Glenn Beck on this both Verbally and in other personal ways...
The actions and inaction’s of the government ARE Treasonous!
The Enemy is within and until we deal with that Enemy we will Never be able to Deal with the Enemy’s outside the Nation!

I think people like Catherine actually think that ‘God’ blesses this nation because of the ‘freedom and liberty’ we enjoy.
Those same freedoms and liberty are enjoyed at the world wide headquarters of the hollywood, porn and music industry headquarters-all found within this nation’s borders.. and that doesn’t include the abortion industry or any other godless industry that has its HQs here. Is it those freedoms people are striving for today or is it religious freedom like it was back at the start?
That isn’t the freedom and liberty found in Him.
Maybe she beleves we are the good guys in the world...I read a different bible.

I have no idea the motivation of Beck..but His Word tells us what is pure religion and undefiled before our Heavenly Father:

Beck is an ass.
Even Pope Francis is loading on the guilt. In a message to the International Labour Conference this past May the Pope asked for “a concerted effort to encourage governments to facilitate the movement ofmigrants.”
the Pope is encouraging the elimination of sovereignty and promoting a system of One World Government.
Beck supports this amnesty invasion.
He lost me a long time ago as a person not to respect because he is all over the place with his logic (his feelings). He has issues. Who doesn’t tho, if you are in the public spotlight, carry the weight with clarity or go away.
Help them if you want, and let your chips fall, Glenn. But don’t judge others who have a different view of what is fair or right. Liberalism again. Do what I say because I feel it’s right. Legal or illegal, pick your side and it seems Beck has done so.
I’m going to be kind and say that Glenn Beck is a misguided loon. Church charity is for the poor and suffering of our country and also for times of emergencies like hurricanes etc. Not to take care of a bunch of illegals who have swarmed in here and urged on by our POS President.
Whether or not they are technically funding it, the circumstances and manner in which they are doing it is tending to egg it on. If this were some kind of counter-charity that offered to help kids who stayed right where they were in El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, etc. it would be wiser. IMHO.
Glenn Beck is being an oddball, I will not be shy about saying it.
Beck confuses his emotions with a Christian response.
If the writer actually listened to Beck, he’d know the answer.
Glenn has sharply criticized the administration for refusing to do anything about the border and for creating this flood, perhaps deliberately. He has said that the parents of these children are negligent, but the kids ought to be sent home as soon as possible.
However, they are human beings — children — and they are here, and they need to be taken care of while they’re here. It’s not their fault their parents sent them here.
It’s very simple: Secure the border, take care of these kids, get them back where they came from ASAP.
There is more things going on in the name of Jesus that you can shake a stick at. Most of them are using His name in vain.
If Beck wants to raise money - but NOT use tax dollars - and help these kids until they can be sent home.. then I’m fine with that...
But the kindest thing he could do is help change the laws so these kids can be sent back as soon as they’re found, discovered, turned in... whatever.
AAARGH!
I just want to beat every acolyte of that dimwitted, weepy megalomaniacal Morning Zookeeper about the head and neck with a broken bottle of the alcohol of Beck’s choice.
I’ve seen from the very beginning that he’s ideologically incoherent and possibly deeply disturbed. And lately it’s also been eminently apparent that he’s ready to veer sharply left. I heard him months ago prattling about “heterofascism,” for example. Or as I like to call it: “sanity.”
People regarded him as a conservative for reasons I will never understand. Because he said bad things about Obama, I guess. But you can’t name a controversial issue on which he’s taken a solid conservative stance, buttressed by philosophical underpinnings and logic. It’s nothing but conspiracy blather with a veneer of religiosity. But think about it, have you even heard him take a solidly and unequivocally conservative position on anything of consequence? Homomarriage? Abortion? Gun rights? “Global Warming?” Even taxes for God’s sake?
And now that he’ll be getting sloppy wet kisses from the left for his embrace of the vermin invading our southern border? Watch out! He’d already been droning on endlessly about “reaching out” to the left. Has anyone heard his nauseating embrace of some leftist rabbi? Think that guy sincerely respects Beck, or regards him as a Useful Idiot?
Beck will be getting lots of lefty love now. And you just watch....he’ll be reciprocating aplenty!
