The life jackets helped many make it across the Rio Grande from Reynosa, the Mexican city across the water from Mission, just west of McAllen. Sources say they come over on rafts ferried by the so-called “coyotes,” the human smugglers whose means of transport are rendered useless whenever discovered by the Border Patrol. Many don’t make it across the river; multiple sources became emotional when recounting their discoveries of small, lifeless bodies washed up along the riverbank.

FOX EXCLUSIVE: McALLEN, Texas — Life jackets of all sizes and the occasional punctured raft are strewn along the banks of the Rio Grande, just south of Mission, Texas, where a relentless onslaught of illegal immigrants eagerly surrender to beleaguered Border Patrol agents around the clock.

It’s a cycle for which there is no end in sight.

“You're going to be out here a long time,” Fernando, an El Salvadoran child, told FoxNews.com shortly after surrendering to Border Patrol authorities after midnight Saturday. “There are thousands of us."

FoxNews.com accompanied Texas lawmaker Louie Gohmert, a former judge and current Republican Congressman, to the site in the pre-dawn hours of Saturday. Gohmert, whose district lies some 550 miles northeast of what has become the most heavily-trafficked people-smuggling route in the world, has been to the location many times, but has never seen it so understaffed and overwhelmed.

“I’m more concerned than ever [that the border is] so seriously undermanned and I’ll be raising hell in Washington,” Gohmert, who invited FoxNews.com to see the situation first-hand, would later tell Border Patrol officials.

Lots of people on both sides do not want the border closed.

I agree. It's criminal, it's unconstitutional for the president to not protect this nation.

Placing the NG would be a symbolic move that would do little unless they were armed, had ROE that made sense, the laws were changed to disallow OTM children et al free reign to our system, etc. (IMO, of course)

BOEHNER! WHERE THE F ARE YOU NOW?

Boehner is just as much culpable in this tragedy and murder as Obama by NOT
sealing that damn Border. Now the blood of their PAWNS are on their hands, and Americans hands!

Every American will be held responsible for the possibly hundreds of dead Chidren
floating dead down the Rio Grande like political Trash, they've been used and
disposed of.

When we said that Obama could cut the heads off chidren on the WH lawn and the MSM
would cover his ass, we ALL were correct, accept we didn't expect the Obama admin
to toss them into the RIO GRANDE to dispose of their victims!

WAKE THE HELL UP AMERICA, NO Hope but plenty of Change, or Dead!

“Many don’t make it across the river; multiple sources became emotional when recounting their discoveries

Collateral damage of drowned children is inconsequential to the importance of Obama’s plan to flood our country with
millions of new Democrat voters dependent upon Democrat welfare for survival. Just another part of the bigger plan to
destroy our country, and I suppose the Obamafascists figure you can’t make an omelet without breaking a few eggs
along the way.

When is Perry going to declare a State of Emergency and put the Texas State Guard and the Texas State Militia on the border and stop these people from crossing the border and driving them back across if they do? When are the citizens of Texas going to rise up and demand that their Governor do his job?

When is NEVER. I have been arguing for weeks to do just what you have written.

I have followed Perry for years. Perry is "all about Perry."

The Marxist is willfully violating Article 4 Section 4 Clause 2 of the United States Constitution. Therefore, Perry has a duty, a responsibility, to call on the citizens of Texas to completely seal the border.

Perry wont do the right thing because he is a very weak man, a contemptible leader.

Perry has the opportunity to be a very historic figure, instead he will be a footnote to history -- only to be mentioned in a negative light; as one of the many leaders who purposefully stood by and did nothing while our Republic was turned into a third-world spanish speaking sewer.

Oh, stop it.

“Marxist”, “very weak man”, “contemptible leader”.

Grow a pair.

How about you tell us Texans what you’ve done to stop it? How about you show us by your actions and/or your state’s actions/investment what you’re doing to stop it?

How about you describe what it’d be like without the investment Texans have already made to try to impinge/interdict this issue?

You just want Texas taxpayers to pay for this? You expect to sit in whatever state you’re in and get US to tote the whole note?!

Seriously? Is your state deporting the illegals that are there? If not, why not?

Oh! It’s illegal for your state to deport ‘em. You don’t have the power. Why is Texas different?

You want us to bring in the NG? Are you gonna pay for it? Or do you just want us to do it?

Quit telling Texas/Texans how to fix things and instead try to contribute. Tell us how you’d like to help. How much do you personally want to kick in to help pay for this?

I’m not saying it’s not important and shouldn’t be addressed (re-read that before you respond), but quit asking Texas/Texans to tote the whole note. Get your ass down here and help. Or get your state to kick in some of THEIR NG.

After all, it’s a national problem...right? We ALL suffer, right?

Quit your bitching and do something.

Jeez.

Perry is showing himself to be somewhat hairless by yapping about calling out the Guard. He already has the authority to call out the TNG. He just doesn’t want to pay for it. He wants a feral mobilization so the bill goes to the Fedz. But he’s still not thinking clearly because at a minimum he could be having the guard units take their regular summer training on the border-—that wouldn’t cost a dime more than is already spent on guard training. And the local sheriffs could be getting off their butts and deputizing helpful citizens, especially border property owners. At a minimum they could use a few more speed boats in the Rio to wash the wetbacks south.

It’s not just kids. Kids are only 1/5 of the traffic. The dirtbag overfed adults are the ones requiring butt-stroking.

The Marxist term was for Obama.

The article is about what is happening in Texas.

The cold reality you cannot face is that Perry is a very weak leader --- all Perry does is talk, talk, talk, talk, talk.

I guess this week we have have from Perry..... more talk, talk, talk, talk.

Perry is the singular leader that could make a difference and become a major historical figure -- if only he took it upon himself to act in a bold and decisive manner.

But the cold reality is Perry is very weak on being a Warrior for Liberty.

All your other questions are irrelevant...

You know nothing about me. You claim to know what I think about Perry.

How about you deal with my questions?

Where do you live, Sand88?

What are YOU and your state doing about it?

Are you going to write checks to fund the efforts you tell Texans they should do?

“...Talk, talk, talk, talk,...”, etc.

Hmmm... Unless you can demonstrate otherwise, it looks like that’s all you do.

Sort of Alinsky-ish...accuse others of that which you do yourself.

I’m here, brother. On the border. I see it, work it, hunt it, etc.

A wise man once said, “You have no right to bitch if you’re not willing to do something about it.”

Man up, quit your bitching and do something.

But either quit telling us Texans we’re not doing enough, express some appreciation for what we ARE doing or come down here and do it your own damn self.

A good friend of mine had dinner with Zack a few months ago in Phoenix. He went even further into detail of the ills of the U.S. Border Patrol during our dinner.

Zack Taylor was not only a Border Patrol Agent for 25+ years, he was in charge of Intelligence and Interdiction. He also personally told me that because of the prohibition of using ammo, Brian Terry (the Border Agent shot and killed a couple of years ago) was sent into the hills with a bean bag shotgun. Agent Terry didn’t have a chance.

Watch this video and listen to an expert on this asymmetrical warfare sanctioned by the white house maggot.

I check this map frequently. There’s a new location where they are delivering and housing these illegals almost every day. At least FOUR new locations were added just today!

Man up, quit your bitching and do something.

Look in the mirror. Wow, calm down!! I am NOT an elected official. I am just one voice.

Perry is an elected official. Perry has the opportunity to make the greatest impact to save our Republic, if only he would ACT. He wont because he is weak.

I am a nobody, don't turn it around on me.

Perry was ELECTED to be responsible to the citizens of Texas and to uphold the United States Constitution.

Perry, like most elected officials across our Republic are failing to uphold the United States Constitution.

Please quit trying to make it about me -- how utterly irrelevant.

The simple fact is that Perry supporters can't acknowledge that ALL Perry will do is TALK, TALK, TALK.....

Go light an fire under Perry and make him ACT instead of asking silly questions about "what I will do."

Are you going to write checks to fund the efforts you tell Texans they should do?

If Perry would call upon citizens of Texas and elsewhere to come to the border and organize and to seal the border, I would take off work and come there to help.

There are millions of citizens who are ready to ACT if only our elected leaders would give them the go ahead.

We can't go seal the borders ourselves -- the Feds would likely take great joy in terminating all those who would do so (individually).

It takes a leader to begin a movement. Perry could be that leader but he is to d*mn weak to act.

I am NOT bitching at Texans at all. I was giving legitimate complaints about one person, Perry.

As far as action, I just expressed it in my previous post.

To save our Republic from utter destruction our border must be completely sealed. The only way I see that happening in a legitimate way is if one or more governors wake up and take BOLD ACTION to call upon millions of citizens to organize and come help seal the border.

Everyone I know are furious about this border situation. We can't go seal it ourselves.
