dailycaller.com ^ | 7/13/2014 | Rachel Stoltzfoos

The Gun can turn seemingly sane people into crazy maniacal lunatics. The Gun corrupts bonds of peace and consistently ruins surprising and infinitely touching moments of inter-species bonding that bridge time and genetic space. The Gun causes war.

But the gun didn’t do anything.

Koba did.

And yeah it was a boring movie.

Except for Koba.

I still have not seen Avatar. I turned my back on Hollywood long ago.

Same here. Although I did try to watch it on tv but couldn't get past the first few minutes. Last time I bought a movie ticket (matinee, of course) was to the last Harry Potter. The time before that was the previous HP. Time before that, the prior HP. I have no desire whatsoever to see a ridiculous Planet of the Apes.

“A good question to me is why do the Hollywood idiots do this when they make movies? Just make a movie, and skip the social/political messaging.”

Because without the movies (and books etc)their silly made up religion has no body.

But yet when someone in Hollywood releases a movie that supports gun rights and has an anticommunist message (for example... Red Dawn- both the 2012 and the 1984 versions), the liberals scream and cry fowl.

Guns kill people, pencils misspell words, cars drive drunk & spoons make you fat.

"I turned my back on Hollywood long ago."

Meanwhile, the legions of dim-witted Generation.commers who will flock to see this drivel will absorb the anti-gun mantra. Those same mind-numbed Leftists will start getting elected to office in another 10 years or so. Once they're there, you think your RKBA will be safe? No...because guns start wars, guns are inherently evil, guns cast magical spells on otherwise good people and turn them into murdering demons, etc. That's what they've been taught by movies.

Still think you're actually doing something because you personally don't support Hollyweird? By ignoring the problem, you're not making it go away, you're just ignoring it.

Yet again, this is a glaring example of why we need to create and support conservative/patriotic pop culture! We can boycott anything ever filmed, but the low-information community isn't...they're been fed low-information propaganda by Hollyweird, the music industry, professional sports, daytime TV, video games, etc. Merely not feeding the beast isn't enough. We need our own, bigger, meaner, stronger beast.

Or we can continue to feel morally superior, doing the Superior Dance with the Church Lady, while our Republic is undermined and destroyed by Leftist pop culture.

Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!

There’s no anti-gun message, she’s just obsessed. The ape that wanted a war wanted a war before he got a hold of any guns, he used the gun to start the war because they were (to that point) human weapons so when chief ape got shot all the other apes thinks humans did it. It’s a good movie, any message in it is against unreasoning hate and pro communication with supposed enemies.

Do they think it’s actually a GOOD thing for the strong to dominate the weak?

Yes, at least when they think they're in a position of strength.

It does seem that every liberal thinks that he’ll be one of those holding the whip instead of working under its lash.

Dang. No spoiler alert? LOL! I thought it might have at least had some Darwinian message. I guess some people can read something into anything.

Well like one of the reviewers pointed out: we know how these movies end, it’s in the title ;)

IMHO they want most Americans to be subject to Prison politics and “culture”. Another analogy would be that of the Eloi to the dominant and savage Morlocks in The Time Machine..
