My response to these animals would be: “You fired rockets on us for X days. We will cease fire after X * 2 days. If you don’t like it, then don’t fire rockets at us.”
Ya know ... anyone can “propose” anything that one wants. That’s never the problem. The “problem” is always getting both sides to agree to the same exact proposal.
SO ... I would imagine that Israel could propose that, but at the same time, I can also imagine that Hamas will fire off the rest of the 3,000 rockets they have for the next three or four weeks ... :-) ...
On May 7th, 1945, a delegation from the German government, then lead by Grossadmiral Doenitz, showed up at SHAPE Headquarters to "negotiate" peace terms. This lead to the incongrous sight of an American MP snapping a salute to a German General. Eisenhower's chief of staff initially ignored them. When they wouldn't go away they were told to go back to Doenitz and tell him the only terms available were unconditional surrender. The capitulation agreed to had to be re-signed the next day in Berlin, because the Soviets were only represented by a colonel, Stalin made all the parties go through it all again, this time General Zhukov signed for the Soviet Union. Eisenhower was indifferent about the stars on the uniform of the American representative.

The PA isn’t Hamas, and the PA has it’s own agenda, which is different from Hamas. The PA is trying to “leverage” the events with Hamas and Israel for its own benefit, which is more political and in the world scene, while Hamas is more “guns and ammo” with its operations.
Israel isn’t surrounding the PA and shooting Israeli missiles at it. But Israel is doing it at Hamas in Gaza!

Good info but that was not the land I was talking about.
The only land I know about that Israel is dealing with, in common with the Palestinians is in the area of Judea, Samaria and Gaza.
