Security cabinet to meet at 7 a.m; Egyptian initiative calls for end of all "hostilities" from both sides, meeting in Cairo within 48 hours after quiet restored; Kerry expected to visit Egyptian capital.

Diplomatic officials said that Netanyahu was expected to encourage the other seven members of the security cabinet to accept the proposal, which would return the situation in Gaza to what it was before Operation Protective Edge began a week ago. Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman and Economy Minister are expected to oppose the proposal in the security cabinet, but are unlikely to be able to prevent the forum from accepting it.

Some 48 hours after the cease fire goes into effect, Egypt is to convene representatives of both Israel and Hamas for further negotiations.

All Bibi is doing is kicking the can down the road and next time, Hamas may well have WMD’s with a delivery system, or maybe ISIS will have taken over Hamas and things will be much worse.

No, I think Egypt has been pretty good lately and it is known that Israel is helping Egypt on some “problems.”

If Israel accepts and Hamas doesn’t, well, that tells you where it’s at. Israel’s Iron Dome is extremely effective, but I’m sure they’d love to stop having air raid sirens and shooting going on over Tel Aviv, their big city. I doubt that Hamas will stop, however, but it does show you where the pieces lie.

Plus when you have 80% of the population heading to the air raid shelters any time Hamas decides to spout out, Israel knows they can keep a better eye on Hamas and if any funny business starts up again they know what to do.

What would really help is if we would quit sending money and weapons to Hamas.

Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Always happens. Israel bending again to the world that wants to annihilate it.

The Classic definition of addictive crazy behavior I have given to persons I have counseled of the last 40 years of ministry is what I call the life story:
“I walk down the street fall in a hole and it takes a while to crawl out”
Chapter Two: “ I walk down a street, fall in same hole. I can get out quicker this time because I have been here before.”
Chapte Three: Like chapter two but still falling in the hole.
Chapter Four is the Key: IF you wish to continue this crazy routine you walk down that same street.
Or: You walk down a new street.
Israel has always chosen to keep walking down the same street with the same result. When, oh when will they realize you can not negotiate with Hamas,Hezbollah, Isis, or any other terror group. Wipe them out. Dictate the terms of peace and move on for the Peace of Israel.
