NEW YORK – In his new full-length documentary film, “There’s No Place Like Utopia,” Joel Gilbert found Peggy Joseph, the Florida voter who became infamous during the 2008 presidential campaign for saying Barack Obama would “pay for my gas and my mortgage.”
Surprisingly, some six years into the Obama presidency, Joseph has turned against the president, disappointed that he did not deliver on his “hope and change” campaign promises.
“Peggy reminded me of Dorothy from ‘The Wizard of Oz,’ who thought the magical wizard would solve all her problems,” Gilbert told WND in an interview.
He provided an excerpt of Joseph in the film.
“When I finally found her address, I knocked on her door and brought her a pair of ruby slippers. When I interviewed Peggy, I was astonished that Peggy explained that she was now anti-Obama. She told me, ‘He was not who we thought or expected him to be.’”
As Gilbert interviewed Joseph for his documentary, he was surprised to learn her life was quite opposite of the welfare mother image she had given on television.
He was shocked to learn she was a suburban soccer mom with four children, who earned her living as a hard-working nurse, the daughter of Haitian immigrants.
Even more surprising, Joseph and her children, just like her Haitian immigrant parents, had no history of ever accepting any form of government assistance or taxpayer-funded handouts.
“Truth and honesty are important,” Joseph explained to Gilbert in the film. “He lied about everything.”

From what I understand, the “Obamafoam” woman has also somewhat recanted.
I have been praying for almost 7 years that black America would turn on the “lyin’ King” en masse.

Perhaps the internal polling shows that to be true. That might explain the push to crash the Borders by the President and his enablers.
It might also let a person extrapolate that these formers followers of the ‘Obama’ might now be in the process of being positioned for other uses. Such as unwitting ‘shock troops’ if the benefits the live off of are suddenly no longer there.

I’ve worked with a few, but never got into political discussions with them. Very family-oriented and religious.

Fer sure. It’s almost worn like a badge of honor by some of the lib women. Bucking time honored traditions just to show somebody that “they” can’t control you. Or some lame brain reason. (I guess some “conservative” women too.) Weird.
We can thank all the voters like this gal for the mess we are in now.

Most know how a sales person operates & to the low information voter, hype plus lies sell!
I don’t know about wealthier white women, but in my area the whites are doing it for the same reason urban blacks do: to get paid. There is no pride in it about anyone controlling them at all; they have become wards of the state, and will live where the state dictates, use the schools designated by the state, etc.
So now blacks will no longer vote for Obama. That will teach him a lesson.
Even 2% would help...a bit.
