MCALLEN, TX - The influx of unaccompanied immigrant children crossing the border may be triggering yet another problem for Border Patrol agents--fake family units.
Although there are no official numbers available, there are reports of unaccompanied immigrant children being approached by adult immigrants and told to pose as a family in order to have a better chance of staying in the U.S.
Just like the overall issue of illegal border crossings, fake family units not only raise concern from a legal standpoint, but also as a humanitarian issue.
"We don't wanna see a kid with an adult that he doesn't know who they are and what could happen to him," said Cabrera. "And at some point they'll part ways and now you have a kid wandering the streets of the United States looking for a family member who knows where."

What do you expect when you are dealing with “undocumented” people? Even when you have documents from the Third World their accuracy is doubtful. That is the reason we have people in our Embassies who work on immigration every day and are paid to sort these issues out before they leave their native countries.
They see fake families..fake papers..fake marriages every day. These people need to be sent home..and we need to have a real fence. We need to return the people who surrender at the border back to Mexico..since they have no documents we should simply say..they came from Mexico we are sending them back..your problem. If the Mexican’s refuse to take them..then close that border station until they do.
Now you’ve done it, there will be a huge Romney fight.
But you do have a point. Romney was a weather vane at best. Massachusetts liberals demanded gay marriage and so he served it up to them on a silver platter. And even yet. That’s more accountability than Barack Obama has given us. He has even cuckolded the black voter now, something which would have been thought impossible for a Democrat.
They aren’t doing that YET... but surely will learn to do so soon. It will turn into the circus of circuses.

As I have explained, Romney was next to last for me in the GOP field (only ahead of Ron Paul). But when he got the nomination, the choice was Obama or Romney. Diogenesis kept at Romney ad nauseum, filling every thread with the same graphics over and over and over. He is still after Romney today. I will say it now — I do not want Romney as the next nominee. But if it is Hillary or Romney, I will do anything to stop Hillary.
If Romney had won, we could have fought him. With Obama, who cares nothing about the law and the Constitution, we have no ability to stop him. No matter what he does, there will never be a 2/3 vote in the Senate to convict in an impeachment proceeding. Who fought Nixon and made him leave? Yes, the GOP. If Romney was elected and did things we did not like, we would have been in the street demonstrating against him.
To Diogenesis. Okay, I am calling you out. For whom did you vote in the last election? If it was not Romney, then you helped contribute to giving us Obama for a second term. If that was the case, I call bull**** on you complaining about Obama. Your hatred of Romney, which we still see on thread after thread, was all that mattered to you. Any complaining about Obama by you deserves mocking.
