As reported earlier today by Kristinn Taylor
The Obama administration has awarded a $50 million contract to a charitable group to buy a Texas resort hotel and transform it in to a 600 bed facility for juvenile illegal aliens.
The beautiful Palm Aire resort and hotel has an indoor Olympic sized pool and an outdoor pool. Free Wi-Fi and cable TV are included in the simply decorated guest rooms.
The Palm Aire Hotel and Suites is set to be sold to Baptist Child & Family Services (BCFS) operating under a federal contract, pending local government approval, according to reports from Weslaco, Texas where the hotel is located. Weslaco is a few miles north of the Rio Grande in Hidalgo County.
The resort hotel for illegal alien children is reportedly the first in the nation.
But it wont be the last
The Obama administration gifted the Baptist Child & Family Services (BCFS) $190,707,505 this month to build offices in six cities and four states. This was after he met with the group last week in Texas.
The new offices will be located in New York, NY; Miami, FL; Houston, TX; Dallas, TX; Sacramento-area, CA; and Los Angeles-area, CA, will serve as regional hubs for BCFS new family support and evaluation programs.
Baptist Child & Family Services (BCFS) is expanding nationwide.
The Baptist Child and Family Services sent out this press release this month.

The new offices, located in New York, NY; Miami, FL; Houston, TX; Dallas, TX; Sacramento-area, CA; and Los Angeles-area, CA, will serve as regional hubs for BCFS new family support and evaluation programs.

We are excited to expand our successful International Childrens Services program nationwide. Under the care and leadership of our new national and regional directors, countless children and families will receive the support they need to start their new lives off right, said Asennet Segura, BCFS Executive Director Residential Services Division. Okay... This has to have been in the works for months.... This was not thought up in the last few days. Money and personal had to be set up long ago.
This IS Obama and his minions master plan to kill this country, and gain millions of illegal votes.
Baptist Child & Family Services (BCFS) will do anything for money even if it is related to crime. The Roman Catholic Church is doing the same.
That makes them both rotten and whores.
Wow... This needs to be told from sea to shining sea... and Ghetto to ghetto..
yep, I see this as Obama last ditch effort to save the midterm election for the Democrats.
Ship illegals to strategic spots around the country to help tip the balance in the election when they vote illegally this November.
He had some checks printed up in his name drawing from the US Treasury.
Take a look at the PDF of IRS form 990 for BCFS Health and Human Services (EIN 74-1260710) of San Antonio, Texas for the year 2012.
Their CEO is Kevin Dinnin of San Antonio, Texas, who was paid a salary $397,175 plus $50,624 extra compensation for his services in 2012.
Treasurer is Claudia Oliveira, was paid $182,909 + $43,429.
Executive Directors include Asennet Segura ($181,895 + $68,370 + $62,510), Kari Tatro ($189,516 + $50,471 + $26,787) and Terri Hipps ($176,267 + $26,002).
(I wonder if these names, or names of persons close to them, also show up on Democratic Party political donor lists?)
Government grants of over $63.3 million are on page 9,
and they indicate grants for the prior year were over $70 million!

Money is fungible. How many departments are there in government, a substantial number we have no idea they even exist.
This is a total slap to the face of every American and all those who immigrated legally.
That same IRS form 990 also identifies several similarly-named organizations, all based in San Antonio.
Seems like a mob-type racket with an interlocking corporate structure all under generic names. (Is there a “true” Baptist religious entity among them?)
Huge salaries plus bonuses and other compensation for their officers and corporate directors. See it for yourself.
This deserves more scrutiny, such as the names of owners of their well-paid providers of cleaning and other services.
Are they relatives, political cronies, or something of that sort?
I’ve got a newsflash for Obama. If he thinks the Cuban community in Miami is going to welcome hordes of Central Americans he’s nuts. There is no love lost between Mexicans and Cubans and I think the same goes for Central and S America.
Holy graft Batman!
You noticed that Obama is sending these illegals to Republican held areas in the states?
FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponents Argument
As mentioned in related threads, the states have never delegated to the feds, expressly via the Constituiton, the specific power to regulate, tax and spend for immigration purpose. In fact, the Founding States had made the 10th Amendment to clarify that the Constitution's silence about issues like immigration means that such issues are automatically and uniquely 10th Amendment-protected intrastate power issues.
But more importantly concerning Obama's executive earmark of $190+ million to a religious group to renovate a motel for illegal immigrants, please consider the following. Justice John Marshall had clarified that Congress is prohibited from laying taxes in the name of state power issues, immigration a state power issue.
Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States. Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
So not only does Congress not have the power to lay taxes for immigration purposes, but somewhere along the line it seems that corrupt Congress evidently wrongly gave Obama a blank check to fund all sorts of constitutionally indefensible projects.
Regarding Justice Marshalls clarification of Congresss limited power to lay taxes, note that James Madison had indicated in The Federalist Papers : No. 58 that the Founding States had uniquely given the House of Representatives (HoR) the power of the purse, evidenced by the Constitutution's Clause 1 of Section 7 of Article I. The Founders had intended for the HoR to use its power to appropriate taxes as a brake to stop either the Senate or the Oval Office from exercising constitutionally nonexistant federal government powers. So the fact that Obama has constitutionally indefensible funds to spend at his discretion suggests that the HoR has conspired with the executive branch to defeat the purpose of Clause 1 mentioned above.
But the biggest problem concerning Obama's constitutionally undefined executive earmark is the following imo. As a consequence of parents not making sure that their children are being taught the federal government's constitutionlly limited powers, low-information voters are not sending pink slips to their elected federal reps as they should be doing every election year when a corrupt president funds special-interest agendas with funding from "unknown" sources.
As a side note concerning the federal government's constitutionally limited powers, please consider the following. The states would sure be a dull, boring place to grow up and live in if parents were to make sure that their children were taught about the federal government's constitutionally limited powers as the Founding States had intended for those powers to be understood. /sarc
Thomas Jefferson had put it this way:
Cherish, therefore, the spirit of our people, and keep alive their attention. If once they become inattentive to the public affairs, you and I, and Congress and Assemblies, judges and governors, shall all become wolves. It seems to be the law of our general nature. - Thomas Jefferson (Letter to Edward Carrington January 16, 1787)
yep, he is trying to stack the deck in the midterms in select house districts
