Does Dick Cheney believe his lies? (Does Paul Begala believe HIS lies about Cheney?!)
CNN Opinion ^ | July 17, 2014 | Paul Begala

Posted on 07/17/2014 6:23:54 PM PDT by Innovative

As an American, I am appalled by Dick Cheney and his relentless, pathetic and ultimately doomed effort to revise the history of his failures.

Cheney's endless media appearances, including this remarkable interview with CNN's Jake Tapper, reveal a nearly sociopathic refusal to admit any error, express any remorse, apologize for any mistake.

And so let us review the Cheney record: No vice president has done more damage to our country, not even Vice President Aaron Burr, who shot and killed Alexander Hamilton 210 years ago.

The old “stroke of the pen, law of the land, pretty cool” fascist is such a twit.

Paul By Golly is out from under his rock again. Isn't he the man that Dennis the Menace called, "The Man Who Grows Forehead"?

While I like and respect Cheney, she needs to stand clear of him, I think.

He was at the center of the liars who led our country blundering into dishonor and disaster, engineering a fraudulent and totally unnecessary war in Iraq, which destabilized the entire region, destroyed ancient Christian communities, and consumed a trillion dollars, for which we received nothing except a mountain of dead and wounded. I loathe everything about him.

Michele Obama should have used Begala’s forehead for her hash tag sign. More room to write.

Please explain what Dick Cheney lied about, as in he knew what he was saying wasn’t true.

Being wrong about something is not the same as lying. Now understand, I do not think using Ground Troops in Iraq was the way to go. I would have preferred Carpet Bombing Iraq into a distant memory. I’m not arguing tactics since hindsight is always 20/20.

As I tell any Libtard who starts up with the crap that Bush “lied” about WMD’s in Iraq, if Bush knew they weren’t there we would have found them the first day of the War.

Libtards usually don’t get it, do you?

We need an animated spot with Dick Cheney and a Darth Vader voice over
“Paul. Paul...... I’m your father, Paul.”

Dems and Pubs both work for the elites of international finance, aka new world order. For that matter, so do all world governments, including Russia and China. At the end of the day, the bankers control finance, espionage, political leaders, etc., and they frequently topple national leaders when they are “done” with them. The parasitic banker’s chief “hosts” are the UK and US, which have the leading financial and military power, which new world order effectively wields as their own weapons.

The bankers have given the order to whip up the neocons into a war frenzy so America can send soldiers to Ukraine.

In “whipping up” the frenzy, new world order loves to use catastrophes with a lot of fatalities, i.e., lots of dead Americans.

Neocon support is politically required for American entry into wars.

The banker’s goal is to have Ukraine formally and exclusively locked under the EU financial/legal umbrella.

Sovereign debt collections can then include “austerity” forced by international bodies. Austerity in this case means deciding what tax dollars are spent on and how much total tax to collect.

Nothing specific about Ukraine, this is the elites’ eventual plan for all nations, the “new world order”.

You are either the product of the MSM, believing everything they say, or just wondered over here from DU, since you are repeating their talking points.

If it hadn’t been for Bush and Cheney — the next attack on the US, after 9-11-2001 may well have been with Saddam’s biological and chemical weapons. And if you don’t believe that he had any, reread my first paragraph above.

Back in 2003 we were repeatedly told that we knew there were WMDs and that we knew where they were. Oddly enough, we were somehow unable to convey this valuable information to the UN inspectors on the ground. The same administration also was happy to deal in dark warnings about mushroom clouds, notwithstanding the fact that there was no evidence of a weaponized uranium program (manufactured evidence doesn’t count), nor any means of delivering a nuclear bomb (or any other WMD) to US territory. We were told there were “links” to terrorists, when the truth was that SH had pointedly spurned islamic fundies precisely because they were his enemy too. I warned at the time that this would mean the destruction of Christianity in the ME, but this warning got no takers here at FR: most seemed not to believe that arabs can be Christians at all.

The problem with calling Begala a despicable and shameless a**hole is that he’d take it as a compliment.

So I’ll just point out that the guy demostrates clearly that he has never evolved beyond the polled/focus grouped language (”appalled”, “pathetic”) that George Stephanopolis and James Carville developed for the 1992 Clinton Campaign.
