President Barack Obama provoked fury in the U.S. on Thursday by casually devoting less than a minute to the deaths of 295 people aboard a Malaysian airliner, as he began an often jokey 16-minute speech about the need to expand America’s transportation infrastructure.
There are no confirmed American dead, an earlier Reuters report claimed that it was feared that as many as 23 U.S. citizens had perished. Obama declared in Wilmington, Delaware that 'it looks like it may be a terrible tragedy,' but not before enthusiastically declaring that 'it is wonderful to be back in Delaware.'

While the cause of the crash has been debated, I haven’t seen anybody rule out a loose Obama drone having interfered with the flight path of MH17.
Only reason I bring this up is that the ‘live’ videos didn’t show a rocket/missile contrail, and an in flight explosion probably would have caused more damage and ownership of the event, and a diving crash would have vaporized the craft.
On Thursday morning, President Obama is off to a party fundraiser in New York. Next week, he’s flying to the west coast for another fundraiser with the Hollywood glitterati. When Obama was in Denver last week, he attended no less than four cash-gathering events in the space of 24 hours.
In his first term, Obama attended more fundraising events than any other president in recent history. According to author Brendan J. Doherty, from 2008 to 2012 Obama went to 321 events, compared to just 80 for Ronald Reagan. And, as the chart below shows, he’s done 72 events in his second term – 34 this year alone. So far, he’s ahead of the pace of George W. Bush, who had been to 30 events at this point in 2006. In his two presidential terms combined, Bush hosted 318 fundraisers. Obama has already smashed that number with 393 events to date.

He did this once before, too, about 3 years ago.
There was a huge tragedy that he had to address —it was a very somber occasion— but he led off with a jubilant “shout out” to some ethnic person in the audience.
Anyone remember what that was..? It was on TV, but I can’t quite place it, just now.
I think it might have been Benghazi that had just happened…?

Obama did a happy shout-out to…..
