The problem with marijuana legalization and usage is not premature death but the medical deadening of the brain. The greater expense comes from welfare and housing for the potheads by age 45, until they finally die from emphysema at 65.

Interesting. What percentage of pot smokers require housing at 45 and die by 65 from smoking? Please cite the studies that indicate this outcome.

What percentage of pot smokers smoke cigarettes and drink alcohol? What percentage also take other dangerous drugs?

If a person smokes cigs and pot and gets lung cancer, how do we know whether the cancer caused by cigs, pot, radon, or something else?

Indeed. The welfare and loss of tax revenue from lazy bums that otherwise would’ve been contributors is where the real impact will be. It won’t be so in your face though, it’ll just be a general worsening standard of living for us all.

But to a liberaltarian that’s a price worth paying of course.
