Stunning! CBS airs violently anti-Christian song

In the early hours of Thursday morning, “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” on CBS featured a guest musical performance with vehemently anti-religious lyrics, including a line wishing the mother of Jesus “would’ve had an abortion.”

Kristeen Young was host Craig Ferguson’s guest, performing her song, “Pearl of a Girl,” which takes all three of the world’s major, monotheistic religions to task for allegedly repressing women.

“I never knew I was a girl until they stooped to tell me,” Young sang in the first verse of her song. “I never knew I was disturbed until they dropped three volumes on me. But in the Bible/Torah/Quran there are really no good roles for me except concubine and wash woman. I used to be the sad one, now I just wanna stab them.”

I’m wondering where these women have been lately? I’m 61 years old, and frankly, have never felt ‘suppressed’ or ‘oppressed’ by my Faith. Feminists pushed this nonsense starting in the late 60s, and it ruined the orders of religious women, because they ate up this nonsense. We see them still, graying, braying old women, railing against the ‘patriarchy’. They ruined the religious life for a generation of young women, until the new orders began while John Paul II was Pope. They were not into feminism, they were truly about loving God and serving others, without a chip on their shoulders. This attitude drew young women to them, and they are thriving.

Mas non my FRiend.

Today we suffer for our good, for the refining of our faith. But we who have received Christ and his perfect redemptive work will NEVER have to suffer his wrath because his wrath for us was already poured out on the body of Jesus Christ on the Cross 2000 years ago and it would be unrighteous and unjust for God to pour out his wrath again upon us.

[We now] wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come (1 Thess 1:10).

For God has not appointed us to wrath (1 Thess 5:9).

Nope we'll see it all from the mezzanine during and after partying in the marriage supper of the Lamb (Rev. 19:7-9). See you there.

Where ya going, Papa? Aren’t you gonna stand against satan with the Christians?

Sure, doing it right now and will again when "the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints [including you and I] to execute judgement upon all" (Jude 14-15).

But at some point soon, we have a date with the Bridegroom Bro. There is a party and a marriage supper waiting for us that cannot be missed (Rev. 7-9). I'll see you there Bro.

Rather, when the King of Kings returns, not before at the end of the age.

First we as Christians have to suffer for Him.

But the word “rapture” is never mentioned. This is from the 18-19th centuries.

The truth is that, all the Christians are going to suffer. The rapture came out from the 18-19th centuries. We better get ready to suffer for our faith in the Lord.

Yes - wee need to be prepared because the time will come like a thief in the night. I won't argue one way or the other on the Rapture - too many Theologians with diverse views - I'll just trust that it occurs the way He has in mind.

Sure would be a nice surprise to find out the Rapture folks are right though....

Quite ironic that the advertisement before the sacrilege clip was promoting a movie about "Genesis"

“He IS Wisdom”

Indeed, He IS! :-)

And yet, in the Book of Proverbs, “WISDOM” is poetically described as a beautiful woman, (Sophia) which does not feminize Wisdom so much as it demonstrates the calm beauty of that attribute of God.

So much for the accusations of Judeo-Christian “misogyny”!

LOLOLOL!

God Bless You, FRiend! :-)

Notice I didn't use the word "rapture." But the Bible does say we will be "caught up to meet the the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord" (1 Thess 4:17).

As you said, we who suffer with him shall reign with him. Jesus said we would have tribulation in the world. But the Bible clearly tells us that the suffering appointed to us is for our own good to purify our patience and faith - it is redemptive suffering (James 1:3; 1 Peter 1:7).

The events that are described in general in Matt 24 and Luke 21 and in detail in Revelation 4-19 are a different story and of a different magnitude - it is the time of the wrath of the Lamb (Rev 6:16-17) and the wrath of God poured out without mixture (Rev 11:18, 14:10,19, 15:7, 16:1,19, 19:15). This is the time of God's fierce wrath upon the world that has rejected the blood of Jesus Christ for their redemption. (Right now, God's grace is still extended to all mankind.)

Daniel also describes the reason for this time of great tribulation: "to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness" (Dan 9:24). He describes this time as "a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that time" (Dan 12:1). A careful reading of Revelation shows that half of the world is dead by the end of the first 3 1/2 years. All who have become Christians during this time will be killed. By the end of the last 3 1/2 years almost the whole world is dead. It is basically God's "mop-up operation" to "clear the decks" so to speak for the coming reign of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords on the earth (Rev 19:16, 20:6).

This is not redemptive suffering, this is God's wrath and punishment on the earth. It is not kind of suffering God intends for his children who he loves. God has already put our deserved punishment on Jesus 2000 years ago and God would be unrighteous and unjust to pour out upon us wrath and punishment that he has already exacted on his Son on the cross. The Bible expressly says that God has not appointed us, his people, to wrath which speaks specifically about this coming time (1 Thess 1:10 and 5:9).

Instead Jesus said, "watch therefore and pray that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall take place and to stand before the Son of man" (Luke 21:36) and we who have received Jesus have been made righteous and worthy by faith through grace.

I'm saying these things to comfort you and others who might be reading, just as the Holy Spirit through Paul was comforting God's people with the same words (1 Thess 4:18).

Thank-you for being sensitive in regards to the word “rapture” because while there are those believers in the Lord who accept the concept, there are others who do not or who call it into question. :) God Bless. :)

You're welcome.

In controversial subjects especially, I try to stick to the literal Biblical text. Safer that way (ex. 1 Thess says "caught up to meet the Lord in the air", so that's what I say).

However, even though this subject of what's coming may be controversial, I find myself feeling that applying Scripture to comfort God's people is more important than avoiding controversy. I think I'm in good company as Paul also seemed to think it was important and the Holy Spirit also for including much on this in the canon of scripture so that God's people would be comforted and not afraid of the wrath to come.

God bless. :-)
