A number were blown to bits
but a pile of PAPER passports, untouched, not burnt, not charred, all intact, mint condition, like brand new, emerges from the rubble... :/ the needle on my BS meter is about off the gauge!

If the missile(s) struck the plane where people were sitting, they were blown to bits.
The fire seemed to occur afer impact with the ground. That’s why there were parts of the plane that didn’t burn. The unburned parts blew off the plane as it was intially blown apart & as it was descending.
btw - though there are passengers who contacted the ground in one piece, people on the ground reported body parts all over.
