German infantry divisions rushing across the Seine toward Normandy. They are supposed to relieve the panzer divisions so they can launch a counter stroke. The Germans have finally figured out there will be no landing in Calais. But these divisions are too little and way too late. They will not get there before the Americans launch Operation Cobra.
