Have Bob and Elizabeth Dole yet cut the winning commercial for Roberts? That’s all it would take in KS.

Tired old story. Wolf is Obama’s cousin, BTW.

Isn’t Dodge City a heavily Dole — I mean Roberts — area?

Basically senators like accent nobles no longer live among the people they are suppose to represent.

I seem to remember a rather specific clause of the Federal Constitution that spelled out that Senators and Representative must actually be residents of the States they claim to represent.

This is pretty sad, no wonder the state is so poorly represented.

KMBC implies that Roberts rents a house in Dodge City. He does not. He rents “space” in a house that is owned and occupied by one of his supporters. The sole purpose of this rental is to provide him an address for tax and voting purposes. You can rest assured that on those rare occasions when he comes to Dodge City, he stays in a hotel.

Roberts has lived in the Washington area since 1967. He owns a home in Alexandria. His wife is a full time real estate agent in Virginia. His cars are titled and licensed in Virginia. His children went to school in Virginia. He is an absentee Senator as far as Kansas is concerned. That is a valid issue as he stands for reelection and a large number of people will not vote for him for that reason.
