I do tire of the media’s military definitions.
Fighter = All military aircraft with <4 engines
Tank = All armored vehicles
Battleship = Frigates, destroyers, cruisers, and sometimes aircraft carriers
Aircraft carrier = anything you can fit 3 or more helicopters on
Soldier = anyone in uniform
Naval officer = 3rd class petty officers and up
Ballistic missile = every missile that isn’t shoulder fired
Missile = Anything that comes off an aircraft
Bomb = Anything that comes off an aircraft
Pilot = Any member of an aircraft’s crew
Military ranks = too confusing to mention
Were they practicing shadowing a commercial airliner?
