Kamal Al-Khatib, deputy head of the radical Islamic Movement in Israel headed by Raed Salah, said in a recent speech that Gaza “will rub Israel's nose in the mud.”
The comments were made in a speech in Kafr Kanna, an Arab town located in the Galilee.

It’s one of those things that goes with being a modern state in the Judeo-Christian West, as opposed to some place like Saudi Arabia, or Iran, or Pakistan, or Syria and so on.

I disagree , this is war , he is treasonous . The world has to stop being so tolerant of the intolerable . At the very least ; into jail for verbally aiding and abetting the mortal enemy of the state . Or better yet a late night aerial insertion into Gaza out of the back of a C-130 ...
Here in the USA we have the Bill of Rights, which includes our Freedom of Speech and we have many here who would never give up on that and would fight for that - as our own soldiers point out that they do - in that they fight for things like that - the Bill of Rights.
And even though Israel doesn’t have those Bill of Rights that we do they do have that same principle of Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Religion, so why would we expect Israel to give up on that, when we would never do so here in this country.
The IDF just arrested 150 Gazans. I hope that they get them singing Intel on where to find Ham@ss leaders.

That’s correct. Treason is still defined as giving aid and comfort to the enemy.
America has become weak at home because it has become accepted to tolerate the intolerable . How much is our heritage worth ? Wimps or warriors? it’s our choice . No quarter to traitors . Here or in Israel .
One might consider them to be useful, but they won’t pass muster with the US Supreme Court, and I would say that’s a good thing. I want to be able to fully criticize the government any time and any way I want in my speech and not have the government interfering with that.
If I think a war is unjust, then I want to be able to scream about it. And Obama has given me occasion to scream about such things ... :-) ...
The Bill of Rights does not include freedom to commit treason—that is a whole different matter covered in Article III Section 3, before the Bill of Rights was even appended to the Constitution. Said section includes “adhering to (the USA’s) enemies, giving them aid and comfort” as part of the definition of treason.
Meanwhile, John Adams’ insistence that the US Constitution “was made only for a moral and religious people” becomes more profoundly evident, especially in light of the left’s constant attacks on it.

I’m not talking about carrying out operations which are treasonous, but speech which is fully protected under the US Constitution.

Does it have to be? It was suppression of free speech.
No, because unpunished treason is still treason. The process therein described is the act of a government prosecuting treason, versus its definition. Propagandizing for the enemy is an act of giving aid and comfort.
All sorts of things can be done on one side of an issue, all the way to the other side of an issue ... but if nothing is brought to court, nothing happens and nothing is decided and no precedent is set for future issues of a similar nature.
Court action is mandatory for future precedent.
So-called “unpunished treason” is only an “opinion” out of the mouth of a commentator ... until it goes through “due process”.
Until that due process is fully exercised, it remains an opinion.
War is a different state of affairs. And treasonous speech does not become non-treasonous merely because of non-prosecution.
