Agreed. Look at King's own words and quotes. He was nothing but a leftwing radical who smeared American troops as war criminals, defended the murderous North Vietnamese government, and called America the greatest purveyor of violence in the world.
It amazes me that some conservatives have bought into the hype surrounding him.

Tower was originally with Strom Thurmond one of the two most conservative members of the Senate, c. 1961-1965. They both later “moderated”.
IRONY
Democrats are intent on killing as many babies as possible.
Most of whom would have grown up to be democrat voters.
Republicans (well, at least conservatives) are focused on preventing as many abortions as possible.
If they succeed and the majority of the saved babies grow up to be democrats the republicans will probably never win another national election.
Or for that matter a state election in states where there are large cities where herds of democrats collect.

Why leave JFK off your list, and I believe that Ford played the game for his campaign and pretended to have been anti-abortion, and John Tower, who cares or remembers him, George Romney was also pro-abortion as was his wife and Senate candidate, Lenore Romney?
Why did you leave off the most recent example, Mitt Romney who also claimed “My father and I marched with Martin Luther King Jr. through the streets of Detroit.””?
MLK was mean and corrupt, he would never have suddenly turned against the left and become their enemy.
