When President Obama issues executive orders on immigration in coming weeks, pro-reform activists are expecting something dramatic: temporary relief from deportation and work authorization for perhaps several million undocumented immigrants. If the activists are right, the sweeping move would upend a contentious policy fight and carry broad political consequences.
The activists met privately with the President and his aides June 30 at the White House, and say in that meeting Obama suggested he will act before the November midterm elections. They hope his decision will offer relief to a significant percentage of the estimated 11.7 million estimated undocumented immigrants in the U.S. “He seems resolute that he’s going to go big and go soon,” says Frank Sharry, executive director of the pro-reform group America’s Voice. Just like he did in the runup to the 2010 elections when he announced the "Dream Act" that Congress had rejected. That executive action got him a Republican House of Representatives. Will this "double-down" get him a Republican Senate?
f the federal government cannot handle and process the thousands of illegal immigrant children crossing the border everyday, how in the world will it be able to process 20 million illegal immigrants already here if it passes amnesty laws?

If they don’t head south, it means that their goal is obviously to seek the good life in the the United States, and not merely to “escape” violence as many of the children claim.
Follow the children: If a child says he came to find his parents, then check out the parents to see if they are here illegally.
Pass this law: Illegal immigrant children must remain in state that they first enter, like Texas. The clhildren cannot be shipped all over the country like Obama does now.
Such a law may finally put pressure on Obama to do something.
Notice this “executive order” will come AFTER the influx Ina million more illegals.
Those most affected by this, through job loss, etc, will be Obama supporters. Can’t think of a better group to suffer the most.
As far as I know, Obama’s Executive Order powers are limited to clarifying/interpreting existing laws passed by Congress and to issue actions/requirements to agencies that fall under the Executive Branch.
He cannot, to the extent they do not violate existing Federal statutes, rewrite or nullify the STATES’ laws wholesale.
Every state that wants its welfare maintain had better be figuring out how they are going to undermine him in this regard.
Obama knows what will bring blood to the streets. He wants disorder so he can declare martial law, and postpone the 2016 presidential election....indefinitely. Thats what fascists do.
