Ask residents living in an area of active fighting not to go outside unless absolutely necessary, at the first sign of danger, take shelter in designated areas and if there is a possibility-to move closer to the center of the city.

Dollars to Donetsk, the Russian-speakers morale is low.
Kiev has to try and move on Donetsk, as soon as possible.
The South Pocket is falling apart, and there are reports of several surrenders in the last 24 hours, especially near Sverdolvsk.
-The fall of the government coalition yesterday.
-There isn’t enough gas stored for winter, and it’s going to get cold soon.
-They are almost out of money.
The unrest in the West of Ukraine is growing, these are the Twitter reports from just last night:
-A Molotov attack on the Conscription Office in Nikolaev. This comes after the very public demonstration by mothers of conscripts in the 79th a couple of days ago,(Trapped and being eliminated in Southern Ukraine), demanding to know what is happening to their sons. Kiev hasn’t even released a single casualty list for them.

-The mayor of Lviv’s house was attacked with an RPG.
-A Molotov attack on “Channel 112”(??) in Kiev,
Kiev has to put an end to this soon, or even Poroshenko will fall, and an even more ruthless Gov will take over.
JUST ANNOUNCED: An important point of the EU sanctions against the Kerchensky ferry. Today, Greek and Italian ships help there will not be an invader
“EU sanctions against the Kerchensky ferry.”
Do you mean the Kerch Ferries? Or the new ship that was ordered?
Do you have a link for that?
Found a link about that story:
Russia was threatening a “Serious” response to any new sanctions, including freezing the considerable assets of BP and Shell, in Russia.
We’ll see how this plays out, in the next few days.
I'm beginning to think the reason Obama is sending Pentagon people to Kiev is there's going to be a joint effort between Russian Commanders and the US to stop this internal fighting. But it takes time for them to settle in and develop the plan.
Naturally they will both have news media carrying another story altogether in order to pacify the public for the dramatic that someone is to blame and someone else the hero.....But bottom line this will soon be the beginning of the end as you previously stated. ...and this will come by Both the Pentagon Military Leaders and the Russian Federation Military leaders who silence all factions in the east.......everybody wins and everybody loses.
With the revenues gone and fighters unwilling to fight...the moral of the Ukrainian people is shattered....they will be easily led now just to have the fighting stopped, (Leaders know when a nations people have endured to the breaking point and will look more like the rescuers rather than the enemy)......which all of Ukraine's fighters have lost sight of 'who' they are fighting. And yes, I also read of happenings in West Ukraine.....though I'm thinking this is driven by the same bunch who infiltrated Maidan and created the violence. (Those b*ast*rds love this conflict!)...and is it not interesting these started in the general time frame of the Parliament collapsing over gas revenues?.....Gas Princess is still out for revenge...and she said she would do so.
This further reinforces my thought that Kiev is running out of time:

“I’m beginning to think the reason Obama is sending Pentagon people to Kiev is there’s going to be a joint effort”
I think you are giving Obama and the Radical Ideologues in the White House too much credit.
IMO, they are stumbling through this, with no real idea of what to do next. They keep escalating, thinking Russia isn’t going to do the same thing.
Now we have actual American, not contractor, boots on the ground in Ukraine. That was an INCREDIBLE stupid move, INO.
If Ukrainian morale is shattered and the Russian agents in Ukraine are so successful, why is Putin moving more troops and equipment to the Ukrainian border?
Regarding the UK surrenders at Sveredolovsk last night.
Per Twitter, the Rebels have turned over 41 captured POW’s to the Russians at the Izvarino Border Checkpoint, for repatriation back to Ukraine.
If they will take them.
If Putin had not run Exxon out of Siberia over a decade ago he might have had some actual leverage with these threats against foreign oil companies. But BP is a British company and Shell is a Dutch company. The Obama administration isn't going to lift a finger to help those companies and their own governments will not break ranks with the US now that Putin has them all scared of him.
You might also ask why Obama is now 'increasing' Key Pentagon military officials to Ukraine.....but not military.
It's the beginning of the end game coming up....IMO this will be a coordinated event ‘with’ both Russia and the US to halt the fighting in E. Ukraine...as the Kiev Parliament just collapsed, opening the way for the placement of Poroshenko’s/US appointments to fill the gap and solidify his Presidency...and further.... declare Eastern Ukraine 'a humanitarian disaster' so that the International Revenues will flow into Kiev to sustain the New Government as it reorganizes and constructs itself under the watchful teams of the Eu and US officials there constructing the New Government..
We've said since the beginning that Europe and the US and Putin knew well he was the only one who could enter the country and stop the infighting.....Heck the state dept has been screaming for Putin to “stop the fighting”...so has Europe...and at the same time blaming Putin for it....
This while affair has been orchestrated to re-install the "other governance" which has been waiting in the wings ....gotta get rid of the old school crooks..... so the bricks were yanked and Parliament fell. Yats resigned as will other Maidan leaders, they have finished with them and time to move it all forward.
Expect the fighting to increase substantially as US Russian military leaders direct Russias military machinery into positions. ....the foreign militia's aren;t going to let go of their jobs easily....and the 'political Oligarchs with their armies fighting there, are not going to go without a fight as they hold on to what was once there's.
When it's all calm the Pentagon officails will remain to set up a proper military for Ukraine...Putin will go home with his prizes...glad his border is calmn again...and allow the US teams to do the same thing for Ukraine that they did for Russia to assist them get back on their feet.
Otherwise this will end up a full blown war neither Russia the US nor Europe wants....they all have further agendas to carry out down the road.
.... .....” They keep escalating, thinking Russia isnt going to do the same thing........Now we have actual American, not contractor, boots on the ground in Ukraine. That was an INCREDIBLE stupid move, IMO.”.............
Our entire involvement was dangerous and stupid from the get go......and I’m not at all comfortable with our key Pentagon people stepping into that war zone.....we’re always called on to answer the call for help...and demanded so by other country’s...and then crapped on when we do.
b) Kiev seems to have a mind of it's own in this affair-- our lack of engagement doesn't offer any carrots to Kiev, and they can count on continued US and European financial support in any case because it's the easiest thing for both a spineless US and EU to do. In addition, by acting so aggressively, Putin has thrown away any bargaining chips with Kiev and the Ukrainian oligarchs-- as far as they can tell, Putin aims to take everything, so I wouldn't be suprised to see them reach into their deep pockets to bail out Kiev;
c) the shooting down of the airliner shows the dangers of Putin's attempt to add muscle to the Russian separatists, and Kiev is not rising to the bait by attacking Russian artillery inside Russia-- they know any major operation would provide a pretext for Russian intervention, so in the circumstances they are pursuing a slow motion rollback of the separatists. Their removal from Donetsk would be a heavy blow for Russia.
d) IMHO, you are severely overestimating the degree of cooperation between the US and Russian militaries, and greatly underestimating the potential for this to go in unanticipated directions. Kiev is slowly forcing Putin to either abandon the separatists or intervene directly, both of which are unappetizing alternatives for him.
I don’t think Putin wants Ukraine...why would he tie a failing nation around his belt? Unless his plan ends up to let the Eu change the nation and THEN take it over after it’s out of the dumpster. But I don’t see that happening long term either wihtout the Eu and US teams remaining there along with a military base under our control.
MAybe I am overreaching in how I see the relationship between US and Putin....but they have orchestrated stranger agreements, and similar in the past when things get out of control...and Ukraine surely is that.
