In our area we have two sayings: It doesn’t matter if you win or lose as long as you have fun. It’s just that winning is a whole lot more fun than losing.

As a Repub you have two choices, you can lose graciously or win ugly and there is no such thing as an ugly win.

Impeachment is winning ugly.

They are then dumbfounded and SILENT.

cRUZ IS SO MASTERFUL AT THIS.

I am using this very technique at work with the Lib staff when they want to complain or argue about some work issue....ha....Obfuscate, change the subject and get emotional.
Works way better than using reason or attmepting to engage in a rational argument. They just stand there, dubfounded, and I walk away serene.

I have also now begun to use that famous phrase...”WHAT DIFFERENCE, at this point, does it make????!!!” ( works beautifully too.)

The target will be shopping malls.

If the malls are like the one here in Aiken County, SC, they need to select a better target. Economy has killed our mall. More closed stores than open. Sears is gone. It's prolly been four years since I had reason to go to this mall. Inside it was practically deserted.

The only potential good thing about an attack on malls is that it could take out a bunch of gang members, judging by who actually goes to malls these days.

Truth is with all this fund raising he does,I doubt anyone knows the actual origin of any of the money and its probably a good idea to find out. My guess, lots of it coming from the mid-east funneled through surrogates. We know in 08 he got 300 million from the mid-east.Are these the kind of people not to ask the same people over and over again, doubt it.

Marxist Dave is really going after those evil Repubs this morning. You hate poor people so why should anyone listen to your ideas? Ryan has a great comeback to get people back to work.

Actually the Nixon impeachment was brought by a Repub.

Well, actually, it wasn't. The democrats controlled the House. It was Barry Goldwater (R-AZ), Hugh Scott (R-PA), and John Rhodes (R-AZ), who meet with President Nixon, and told him that his chances of avoiding impeachment were “gloomy.” Nixon resigned the next morning. The House never had a vote.

Howard Baker was an R but also Everett Dirksen’s son-in- law. Dirkson was R minority leader but did not like Nixon (who did?). Smiling Sen. Sam Ervin (country lawyer) also played a big role. As did Peter Rodino who as totally partisan D as he was, acting like a Judge at the Nuremberg trials so prim and proper.

Nixon had also turned off a large portion of his base (footsies with China etc) so the R’s did not truly pr totally support him.

Obama has also told much of his base to “fly a kite - what are you gonna do? Not vote for me? Sue me!”

No, Obama is definitely vulnerable BUT (a) where is the Democrat who will step forward and throw the first stone? (Kucinich is gone)and (b) how would we avoid the African American backlash?

Just finished reading this thread and was interested in the impeach or not impeach Obama opinions. Both views have merit and others I talk to are equally divided about the effectiveness of one or the other as concerns helping or hurting the country.

As I see things, the socialist democrats will always win by simply declaring the action taken as what they wanted and take advantage of the outcome to continue on with destroying this Republic. Perception being the political reality for Obama voters favors no impeachment. Reality being the guide for American citizens who want to preserve our Republic would necessitate taking immediate and extreme action to remove the traitor from office. However, impeachment consequences will not remove anybody from their position of power and that is another reality we have to accept.

The big problem for many conservatives is that we simply have lost trust in our own milquetoast Republican leaders. Should they actually remove Obama from office, would they repair any damage he has done or rather concern themselves with political advantage for themselves?

I would like to say let the chips fall with impeachment. If there is a reason to believe that the Republicans will use the situation to demonstrate leadership on the immigration situation maybe I could trust them to ride this thing out till Nov and give the voters a chance to regain some measure of control over our destiny as a free country.

If the Republicans gain 10 seats in the Senate it puts Impeachment in play but it also can force budget and policy changes on Obama.

I love US Revolutionary War history. Unless it was for business, I don’t think I’d go to Boston or MA as a tourist. As much as I’d love to see things there and experience the historical settings, I have no desire to spend one dime in that state.

Guess I’m stuck using the Internet as a voyeur to learn about anything there.

I could have similar feelings about Colorado and Denver but I’m already here. It will be a few years until we can move but when we can we’ll probably be out of here too. Denver’s just like other Democrat controlled cities around the country. Between the crime and the social misfits we have it’s not as much fun to do things these days.
