Pentagon Plan Would Help Ukraine Target Rebel Missiles
NYT ^ | 26 Jul 14 | DAVID E. SANGER and ERIC SCHMITT

The Pentagon and American intelligence agencies are developing plans that would enable the Obama administration to provide specific locations of surface-to-air missiles controlled by Russian-backed separatists in eastern Ukraine so the Ukrainian government could target them for destruction, American officials said.

But the proposal has not yet been debated in the White House, a senior administration official said. It is unclear whether President Obama, who has already approved limited intelligence sharing with Ukraine, will agree to give more precise information about potential military targets, a step that would involve the United States more deeply in the conflict.

Oh, they've changed so much since the late 1990s that they now all have their noses up King Barry's butt?

Barry is shafting Ukraine and has a patsy selected by the same money that's behind him.

Who benefits if Ukraine nationalizes and then sells off the heavy industry in Ukraine most of which is owned directly or indirectly by Russians and Russian shareholders?

Putin got what he wanted and now looks like he's just keeping his approval numbers up within Russia using carefully worded BS. He ain't no choirboy but he can read a balance sheet and knows industry in Ukraine needs a lot of investment to keep going.

If Russian owners loose, well, he'll make it easy for them to invest in new, modern, replacements within the current borders of Russia the Koreans will be more than happy to build.

He's also, contrary to popular opinion, well aware of what his military limitations are.

People trying to characterize a shrewd leader with juvinile propaganda straight out of a bad 1950s movie is just plain stupid. No one will have much, if anything, to wonder about when Putin has the upper hand someplace and he won't move anywhere until he does.

JMHO

The rule, as stated before by the Mods, is roughly four hours.

So you intentionally re-posted a thread. I hadn't head that. Is that true?

Worst case, . . .

No -- the Worst case is when I take the time to read your nonsense.

Putin won’t do anything because of me. His desire to reconstitute the Russian Empire has nothing to do with anything I see, say, or write. I’m not surprised you’d blame me for Putin’s goals as you’re incapable of blaming your God Putin.

You know...for a guy who supposedly spent time in Iraq you sure have a weird obsession with Russia. You’d think someone with your ‘experience’ would be posting on ISIS threads rather than rabidly posting on Ukraine ones. Makes me question your whole story...

Hmmm perhaps because we don't have here a whole contingent of dickheads rooting for ISIS and treating them as the second coming ?

Could be because we don’t have a President that cares about stopping ISIS, but wants to poke his nose in Ukraine.

just saying

“but wants to poke his nose in Ukraine.”

You mean because he sent them MREs, socks and released several strongly worded statements, it's clear that it's all a grand Muslim/neo-con/IMF/Rothschild/Bilderberg/Soros/sodomite EU/Monsanto Nazi conspiracy against Putin - the fierce defender of Christianity and free market, the vanquisher of banksters, islamists and homos ?

The whole “Obama supports Ukraine therefore Putin must be right” crap spread by Putinists here is totally out of touch with reality. In fact a fragile Ukrainian state is pushed around by a KGB punk and “western leaders” don't give a damn to the point that French don't even bother to cancel their little shitty warship deal.

By your logic, then, I guess you must have served in Ukraine or with the FSB. You’re always on here arguing that Ukraine should be subjugated by Putin’s proxies. In fact, you’re always showing poor cognitive skills and logic nearly every time you post. Just as someone could have been in Iraq and be opposed to Putin, one can also oppose Putin and Obama. Apparently, you think being consistently in support of freedom is a questionable trait.

You’re just saying something that isn’t true. Putin is sending lethal items to his proxies in an undeclared war on his neighbor. Obama has made some speeches, some very limited sanctions, and sent some EOD robots. To say that you think Obama is poking his nose into Ukraine ignores the fact that he’s offered little aid that will make a difference. And it plays the moral equivalence card that the Left always plays.

The only thing you're consistent about is lying.

The only thing you’re consistent about is your love for Obama? Do you have a big picture poster of him on your wall at home? Are you in love with him?
