Sometimes, this place is stuck in 1968.

pot is much more beguiling to the young than alcohol is...

Kids use alcohol twice as often as pot - although they report that pot is easier to get than alcohol (also easier to get than cigarettes).

And much, much more devastating.

No mind-altering drug is good for developing brains; where's the evidence that pot is "much, much more devastating"?

“I mean I wouldn’t hire a doper”

That is where the argument for legal dope falls apart.

Nobody else will hire them either, so you will supporting them and their families with your taxes!

Detroit is a good example of how this works out in the real world, nobody works and taxpayers support them. Stoned, drunk, and uneducated, they couldn’t hold down a job if one WAS offered.

Exactly what the left wants, a drugged and even more dumbed-down populace which is highly malleable to the machinations of a corrupt, fascistic government.

A new slogan in future elections??? Instead of a "Chicken in every pot".... "Pot in every coop"!

Detoilet used to be booming too. Generations of stoners aren’t born overnight.

Give it some time. Wait about 5 years and see what the welfare rolls look like. Like a corncrib, easy free corn draws lots of rats!

So you think Detroit’s decline is due to legal pot?

Nobody else will hire them either

What makes you think so? Not all employers test - I've been employed for over 20 years and been tested only once.

Detroit is a good example of how this works out in the real world

Marijuana is illegal in Detroit.

Do YOU think the government has the right to dictate what we may or may not consume?

Insofar as marijuana, I don't want kids having access to it, so what I'd settle for is a minimum age requirement.

Let me flip this question... are you in favor of any and all currently illegal drugs being legalized?

It’s due to being a city full of uneducated, drunk, doped, morons that don’t work or support themselves.

There is no way to fix it without evicting all the residents.

Making it legal just attracts more of them.

“I’ve been employed for over 20 years and been tested only once.”

And there you have it, a poll sample of one.
