Way too expensive a way of killing rats in sewers. Too many buildings above the tunnels. The tunnels need to be cleared of terrorists & weapons, then systematically destroyed, even if you use the BBs.
If Israel could gas the tunnels, then do extensive recon, I'll bet they come up with a wealth of intelligence; enough to destroy Hamas & much of the regional terrorist networks.
Naturally, Israel wont use a WMD, even on tunnel scum, so the Israeli tunnel rats are gonna have a tough time.
Absolute SAFEST way to destroy underground structures with almost ZERO surface radiation (plus you create a nice, deep, nuclear-engineered ditch.

The Isreaelis have all that they need: 1) CAUSE, 2) Nuclear weapons, 3) A buffer to limit civilian casualties, 4) An urgent need to collapse the tunnels and create at PERMANENT no-mans land. 5) Finally, it shows the world that Israel has the resolve and dedication to use every tool in its arsenal, and sends a message to the rest of the Mud-slime world that they are NOT afraid to use nuclear weapons (albiet, in a scientific, nuclear-engineering sense):

I saw pictures of Gaza tunnels. They were huge...large enough for big trucks could drive through them.... made of concrete, much like vehicular tunnels in the U.S.
Much grander than anything I saw in RVN
In what was known as I Corps, which was the northern most and mountainous section of South Viet Nam, most of the tunnels were primative and very small, 3 to 4 feet wide and 5, maybe 6 feet high, at most. Ceiling and walls were lined with wood. Nearly all of the tunnels were zig-zag’d every 10 or 20 feet. There were always escape hatches here and there in the roof. We would look for those hatches before entering a tunnel and pop a couple of smoke grenades down to see there the smoke showed itself. Crawling on your belly, in the dark, no helmet/no flack jacket, with just a .45 looking for bad guys creates a helluva rush.
I know they couldn’t, but I am sure we have something for this. If the scum set off a nuke the media would say it was Israel anyway.

An excellent observation, DH. Palestinian brutes will allow the murder of their children in order to advance the Nazi/Hamas cause. It should also be noted that our Orwellian pig media here in the US is aiding the Hamas animals.
