The core difference between conservatism and (the corrupted, latter-day version of) liberalism is that the former prefers liberty over equality, while the latter reverses that order.

And modern liberalism is rooted in the collective ideal, that all property is held in common, not individually. In fact, there is no place for the individual in modern liberalism. All desire must be subordinated to the Collective.

In other words, “You didn’t build that.”

If you can’t stun them with brilliance baffle them with BS.

Way to complicated for me.

In all Star Trek series... The United Federation of Planets AND “the BORG” were completely Communist in scope and feel..

The Collective ruled.. or the HIVE... same concept..
even the Romulans and Kingons were collectives..

the only BAD GUYS were the Ferengi.. i.e. capitalists..

Liberals seem to have an insect mentality..

There are many "intelligent" liberals who have jobs in high tech industry and other intelligence-based career areas. Why do intelligent people vote for Dems? Many grew up in Dem/lib households and vote out of habit. Many of them want to be hip. Some honestly believe they are helping the "oppressed."

I would guess few really plumb the depths of liberalism (or conservatism) and question why they vote for more and bigger government which will eventually destroy their own livelihoods.

“There are many “intelligent” liberals who have jobs in high tech industry and other intelligence-based career areas.”

That isn’t even 10% of their voter base. Their voters are illiterate morons, welfare brood mares, pimps, criminals, union flunkies, stoners, queers, and children too uninformed to understand how the world works.

Thank you.

But his broad outline is good and serves as a template for developing his observational summaries further.

Agreed, and your further observations are "spot on."
