The more this type of thing happens, the more I think my husband is right. You should have to own property to vote.

At one time property ownership was a requirement to vote. However, these days no one owns property, the government merely leases it to you.

I think Martha’s Vinyard would be a good place to warehouse illeagals.

The states have been reduced to the status of any other interest group. The national association of paint manufacturers has about as much clout in DC as the states.

While I am not against property quals, El Presidente wouldn't be insulting and burdening the states like this if we still had a senate of the states.

The 17th Amendment inflicted a mortal wound on our republic, for while it denied state representation, it left intact constitutional powers over the states.

We have a federal constitution, yet we do not have a federal government. The 17th must go.
