One of the points that Putinistas try to make is that only the Ukrainians benefit from this shoot down. Of course, if that were true, why won’t Putin’s proxies cooperate in exposing the crash site to investigators so the truth can be proven?

That would require a level of cognitive ability not available to those who simply repeat what they read or hear on RT.

It's as if these folks never read about the Gulag or the 70 years worth of crimes of the Soviet communist party. So they cannot understand just how cruel, sick and depraved Putin was a party member and KGB Colonel. Nor do they understand that Putin wasn't just a party member in the secret police; he was a second generation secret policeman. He's been a deceptive fraud as long as he's had a public life. Putin's opposition to Obama is merely opportunism. His commitment to rebuilding the Russian/Soviet empire is heartfelt. Their commitment to Putin is at best naïve.
