International observers turned back Wednesday after making another attempt to reach the site where Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 went down in eastern Ukraine, and a government official said the area near the zone had been mined by pro-Russian separatists who control it....

Safety concerns and hindrance from the separatists who control the area have kept the investigation team away. Foreign governments whose citizens died have complained the site is not secured and some human remains have not been recovered.

Government security spokesman Andriy Lysenko added to those concerns Wednesday by saying separatists "have mined the approaches to this area. This makes the work of the international experts impossible."

Lysenko was asked at a briefing about concerns that Ukrainian efforts to win back territory were increasing fighting in the area and slowing access. He said that Ukrainian troops weren't conducting operations against the separatist near the site, but were trying to cut off their supply lines to force them to leave the area....

Nobody will ever know what is true there. Even if you are on the ground there or think you are a commander, there a multiple psy-ops going on and one hand does not know what the other is doing.

Due to global instant media, the battlefield has become more of an information war than a physical one.

“It may not be true.”

Or, mines could have been placed “around” the crash site to keep local looters away and not to keep investigators away.

Of course it will be spun however one wants to spin it... So we will never know.

We’ll find out if or when the EU puts mine components on the sanction list.

Just another Russian war crime, but who’s counting: they already deserve what is coming to them...

Or, they could have placed there to keep zombies from emerging from the wreckage.

The ones laying the mines are the local looters --

Here’s a link to an investment web page that quotes German experts regarding the downing of the airliner. As they say though... the first casualty is a war is the truth.

You’re right. This point may not be true.

Here is what is undeniably true.

The crash site is in rebel held territory. It is now 13 days since the plane was shot down. Investigators still do not have unfettered access to the crash site.

My question: whose interests are being served by this fact?

Actually, times have changed. The first casualty of any event such as this one are the victims of internet moonbat conspiracy theories.

“The first casualty of any event such as this one are the victims of internet moonbat conspiracy theories.”

Why would the Germans espouse such a conspiracy? And why would a Business site publish it. It’s my observation over the last few years that it’s the MSM that makes things up to advance their cause.

I suspect you didn’t even read it... Because it doesn’t fit your agenda.

That is certainly true, and Putin should be tried for crimes against humanity.

I read all the way to the part about the Spanish air traffic controller in Ukraine, whose Twitter account was deleted, and doesn’t appear to exist . . . anywhere.

How is that significant?

How is that significant?

Because you feel it is significant that a blog is repeating false information, as if by virtue of being a blog, the information gains value.

“unfettered access”

What does “unfettered” mean in this context. Do they have access or not? Of course they don’t have “unfettered” access. It’s a war zone.

Unfettered means without fetters. Free access without limitations.

You know, like every other downed plane/crash site on the planet.

Usually the sites are able to be investigated before 16 year old girls do instagrams of themselves with themselves in looted makeup.

Does that help you understand?

That’s odd. When I got to the website the article title is

“Ukraine: Clashes prevent visit to jet debris site”

A little creative editing on your part?

I frankly think that it is high time for the Dutch, Aussies, and the OSCE to get some guts, put their big boy pants on, quit pussy-footing around, run the checkpoint and drive to the MH17 site. Just keep moving and don’t stop.

No one on the Ukrainian arms side will fire on them.

They should dare the Russian rebels to shoot at them as they proceed on their humanitarian mission.
