Cornyn won his primary thanks to the Chamber of Amnesty, LaRaza and Karl Rove unfortunately.

Didn't get any help from this households. 3 votes against.

Voting against Cornyn was the highlight of my day.

Steve Stockman is to blame. He entered late, sucked all the air out of the other opponents, and refused to campaign. He did the RINOs a big favor. Don’t know what compensation he received, but I’m sure he was rewarded in some way...

From the article:
“...$1.1 billion is for agencies within the Department of Homeland Security, which primarily oversees border and immigration enforcement...”

Or not.

Cornyn is a RINO. He funded ( through the senatorial campaign group he heads) the payment of money to blacks to defeat a conservate in Mississippi and elect the Thud Cochran. Cornyn is a wall flower to Ted Cruz. He won his primary over 6 underfunded true conservatives because of the ignorance of the voters. Never trust John Cornyn again. Horrible RINO.

Corker will portray this as opposition somehow by the time he runs again.

Obummer, Boehner and Big Business called on McConnell to switch his vote. Obummer probably told him he can forget about earmarks if he votes Yes...

We said in 2008 and again in 2012 “never again” to vote for the lesser of 2 evils. It looks like we will “never again” vote for the lesser of 2 evils again in 2014. The definition of insanity is doing the same things over expecting a different result.

If they don’t earn the vote, they shouldn’t get the vote.

It’s not the fault of the voters that both parties are one and the same.

“Cornyn won his primary thanks to the Chamber of Amnesty, LaRaza and Karl Rove unfortunately.”

They didn’t cast votes.

The people of Texas did.

It is far past time for absolving stupid people of stupid decisions.

This bill is unconstitutional. All spending bill MUST originate in the House.

You can tell a RINO if, just prior to the vote, they can be seen sticking their fingers in the air to determine which way the wind is blowing.

He can jump off the fence either way, depending on the audience.
Typical politics. Disgusting.

Even Jesse Helms’ detractors had to admit, you knew where he stood.
I miss him.

“Anyway, cornyn we’re stuck with him.”

Now you’ve got time to find a TERRIFIC opponent for him & start the campaign to take him down.

I guess it says a lot that we can’t find even ONE exceptional individual who’s willing to run. But you know they’ve got to be out there somewhere.

You mean in six years? Or an opposing democrat?

Helms was one of only two people in my lifetime who got better the longer they stayed in congress. Carl T. Curtis of Nebraska was the other.

I mean start looking for a Republican to oppose him now. Even if he’s there for six years, you know he’ll run for another term. These guys insist on going out feet first. Start working for a replacement now, & use all six years to get that person ready for when the time comes.

I know it seems like campaign season never dies, but this is what the leftists have been doing & we need to do it, too.

Bill is inconsequential. A bill will never make it out of the house.
