The scientist who helped discover the Ebola virus said the outbreak in west Africa was unlikely to trigger a major epidemic outside the region, adding he would happily sit next to an infected person on a train.

Sweat along saliva and mucus from sneezing combined with a 60-hr. survival time outside a host ensures it will continue to spread. When the weather cools it could spread via the invisible, off-the-books activities and trade routes such as prostitution and drug networks.
