Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh: Foolish For Boehner To Take Impeachment 'Off The Table'
Breitbart - Big Government ^ | 30 Jul 2014 | by TONY LEE

After conservative icon and talk radio host Rush Limbaugh blasted House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) for declaring that impeaching Obama was off the table, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin praised Limbaugh for understanding the importance of not emboldening Obama to act even more lawlessly.

"Rush is right," she wrote in a Wednesday Facebook post. "The GOP wants to take impeachment off the table? When will you learn liberals won't hate you less if you play nice in these tumultuous times? No matter how polite, complacent, and complicit you are, Obama will continue to harm our Republic and make you impotent. Even today, his very un-presidential speech mocked you for always being a' 'hatin'. Your apathy is their power."

On his Wednesday radio show, Limbaugh criticized House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) for announcing to the world that Republicans would not impeach Obama.

Then 0bama rules with impunity.

He certainly does for now. These FR posters I mentioned are adament in their confidence that things will all change for the better this November when Republicans retake the Senate.

They may be correct about that, if it indeed happens, but I have lived longer than some of them and know from experience that having a Republican Senate will change only the leadership and not much else.

Back then she was trying to be nice to the scumbag lib media that eventually assassinated her character.

She was only doing the bidding of that dried-up old POS at the top of the ticket. She launched in against the "media" late in the campaign but McCain's people got in her face about it.

If he won’t get rid Obama, then we need to get rid of Boehner. Not that I expect it to happen, but it’s a nice thought.

As good as it might feel Impeachment won’t cut it until the senate changes hands.

It may or may not be successful in the short term but beginning the process now would accurate represent the wishes of many Americans.

I reject the politically-expedient course of non-action until the Senate is retaken by Republicans...which some FR posters assure me is a given, come this November.

I think we’ve seen the results in the Dem’s using this as a fund raising tool. The element of surprise and preparation on the QT is not to be underestimated.

You may be right. But I'm voting only for those candidates I believe are Constitutional conservatives, with one exception: a vote for an opponent of Lindsey Graham.

Once again, the GOP snatches defeat from the jaws of victory. In a world biased back to normal, every GOP operative from the lead dog down to precinct workers would be banging the impeachment drum and reminding the locked and cocked "ready to impeach" electorate at every turn why winning every possible contested seat in the 2014 mid term is critical towards successfully impeaching AND convicting Obama.

....but then, this is Bizzaro World now and the UNIPARTY is running the show.

This woman has more intestinal fortitude then the Speaker ever thought of having.

Damn straight.

This is why the GOP is going to be done as a political force after November 2014.

We will vote for them one last time as there cannot be a Democrat led House--the Democrats hate this country and they are dangerous.

Gaining the Senate is a long shot for the GOP--I am not buying the happy horsesh#t that there will be a GOP tidal wave in November.

And I certainly have no illusions that the GOP will take on Obama starting in January 2015, not with the leadership, or intended replacements, they have now.

I would like to see us form a new party that has nothing to do with the UniParty, with someone like Sarah, Ted Cruz, or Allen West at the lead, and really bring the fight to the Dems for once.

This is similar in my mind to when the GOP was foiunded in 1854 because the Whigs had no appetite to fight slavery.

I have worked and waited for 22 years to see the GOP take on the Dems. Except for a brief glimmer of hope in 1995 and 1998, I have been sorely disappointed. And I will never forget them stabbing us in the back after we fought and gave them the House in 2010.

When I think of the Senate GOP and House leaders in the last 22 years, except for Newt, I want to vomit. The Dems must pinch themselves every day because they cannot believe their good luck to have such stupid opposition.

Our beloved America is in mortal danger. It is a time for choosing and for action--jawboning like Rush--well, we have had enough years of that.

We need leaders who will fight. And they are not found in the GOP-e.

Even if they take the Senate the excuse will be "we can't because it will impact the 2016 election by driving Democrats to the polls". So when will it be done? Never....

Taking impeachment off the table is like telling the terrorist we are pulling out. They both know they can do whatever they want and get away with it.

To me, this is a dereliction of duty, and the same as Obama and Eric Holder they choose to uphold some laws and not others.

They do not have a choice.

it is their job as per Constitution.

It’s time the leaders on the right disregard the laws too and close the borders, denying anyone in. All they have to say is Ebola is at level 2. If they don’t they will be blamed with obama if one case of Ebola comes to the US. Then it will be to late.

Uh, this did not play out in 2000, so why would you think it would play out in 2016?

"I" am not saying it would, but the Republicans will. I am pretty sure we are in agreement. There is no excuse not to call for impeachment now....not later. There will be no later.

Feds control the border, per Arizona lawsuit before U.S. Supreme Court. Different branches of government would be fighting each other at the border.

Really is too late anyway; damage is done and cannot be easily undone now, under this Administration.

Agree. It's just a carrot held out on a line. A potential Republican Senate would feature a change in leadership but not in what they'll accomplish, according to my past experience.

Maybe that’s the direction they should go. Start a slow drip of treason charges backed up with examples of how the administration gives aid and support to our declared enemies. That was will be easily understood by the people and will back the left into a corner.

If Obama can’t be impeached, then the entire impeachment concept is void. This guy is an enemy of the nation and he is in charge. If our founding fathers were alive right now, the shooting would have already commenced.

Too Right Tadslos, I hear "It Will Fire up the Dem's to Vote in the Mid-Terms!"...Well won't it fire up OUR base too? Which should always be a goal? It will show our voters that we are serious about stopping this Lawless Regime.

Even if they take the Senate the excuse will be "we can't because it will impact the 2016 election by driving Democrats to the polls".

And Envisioning could not be more correct, Remember the Debt Fight or the Budget Fight? "Let the Dem's have it and get it off the table, THEN we can focus on X"

The GOP is the Party of Excuses.
