Investigation into the incident yesterday which killed three elite Maglan fighters shows that the structure which collapsed on the soldiers was a UN clinic. It further shows that Hamas hid in the wall 12 barrels of explosives and each weighed 80 kilograms.

Findings of the investigation suggest that before entering the clinic Maglan forces shot a shell inside the building out of concern that it was booby-trapped. Then, special Maglan forces burst in along with fighters from the Bomb Squad, who have been operating since the beginning of operation in close coordination with the infantry and special units, and fighters with a canine unit.
Troops entered in, and a loud explosion then occurred and a significant part of the building collapsed on the fighters. As a result, three Maglan fighters were killed . . . .
Israel knew that Hamas was getting large loads of cement, so they knew they were making tunnels, but they had NO idea how elaborate they were and what the plan was for Rosh Hashanah..going into Gaza during this war they found out everything..it would have been Israel’s 9/11
And the war was touched off by the kidnapping/murders of the three Israeli kids and subsequent murder of the Palestinian kid. I had actually forgotten that connection. I guess I’m really caught up in the war itself. Thanks.
those three boys are angels because Israel would have never known what was in store for them at Rosh Hashanah..I dont even want to imagine what would have happened..it would have been Israel’s 9/11..maybe even worse..these tunnels are the most elaborate tunnels Israel has ever seen..took Hamas 12 years to make them with over 160 Palestinian children killed(they built the tunnels and were killed..yeah that’s something you won’t hear about in the media)

Please tell me you did not just figure this out.
No, I'm referring to what the UN did in Katanga Province, which had the temerity to attempt to break away from said Mr. Lumumba.
The UN aerially bombed schools and hospitals in the province to force them back into Lumumba's "loving fold". That they later regretted their previous actions and had Lumumba whacked is meaningless in the face of the war crimes committed by the UN, with the attendant civilian casualties.
Bear in mind, the only armed force the Katangans had was Mike Hoare's 5 Commando, which had no organic air assets, nor armor, just light infantry (and not a large force of that.)
