CIA Director John Brennan has apologized to the leadership of the Senate Intelligence Committee after the CIAs Inspector General determined that agency officials inappropriately searched the stand-alone computer network used by committee staffers in preparing their report on the C.I.A.s detention and interrogation program. Earlier this year, Brennan denied the C.I.A. had illegally monitored the committees computers calling the suggestions as just beyond the scope of reason.
To follow up on the Inspector Generals determination Brennan has ordered the formation of an accountability board to review the incident and make recommendations that could potentially lead to disciplinary action.

I don’t think we’re going to make it out of this. There is just too much contempt for laws, traditions, boundaries. The lack of even basic respect has gone up in smoke. We are steps away from anarchy with people foaming at the mouth for it.

Congress is too scared of being blackmailed to speak out against anything of this admin. We’ve seen this daily for the past 6 years. Since it’s this bad against Congress, can you even imagine how bad they’ll come down on the average US citizen when the time comes.
