Poll: Foreign policy no longer Obama strong point

Foreign policy used to be a bright spot in Americans’ dimming opinion of President Barack Obama. Not anymore. Associated Press-GfK polling found a spring and summer of discontent with the president’s handling of world events.

Obama’s consistently low marks across crises such as the fighting in Ukraine and the conflict between Israel and Hamas could benefit Republicans aiming to win control Congress in the fall.

“The problem is saying something and not doing anything—making grandiose threats and never following any of them up,” said Dwight Miller, 71, a retiree and volunteer firefighter in Robertson County, Texas. Miller, who describes himself as a libertarian-leaning Republican, says Obama should either stay out of other nations’ business or commit to going “all in.” …

I only hope Obama stays aloof and golfing: Golfloof.

Last thing America needs is for Obama to come up with some ‘bold’, ‘fresh’, ‘courageous’, ‘provocative’, ‘thoughtful’, and ‘analytical’ rebranding of his tired old shtick with some newly contrived liberal-assed initiative.

Anything new coming out of the White House at this point in his Presidency is just some phony stunt to try to keep his fawning media distracted enough so that he can spend more time being a Golfloof and not look like a completely incompetent schmagookh.

There are several “problems”:
1. He’s a phoney.
2. He’s not qualified.
3. He’s a bully.
4. He’s a liar.

LOL. If anyone ever thought foreign policy was his strong suit, they must have been sniffing the ceiling of the Choom Gang Mystery Machine.

That sure explains the media-induced stupor that the country was in for a while.

“Foreign policy used to be a bright spot in Americans’ dimming opinion of President Barack Obama.”

This article is a cheap diversion...everyone knows Barry picked Biden to be his veep because Joe had exceptional foreign policy skills.

I never knew “Foreign policy” was even a strong point with this leader/little king.

It was a touted as a "strong point" by the MSM, back when he was talking about it, but before he actually started doing it.

His supporters believed it and are losing their illusions now. When at 2008 Sarah Palin warned after Russian invasion of Georgia that Ukraine will be next if Russia is allowed to get away with it then she was called stupid and media was saying there are adults in the White House now with their magnificent reset button.

Wait, they used to think foreign policy was a strong point? Seriously? That is knee slapping funny. From day one I thought that, national security, and economic policy were in a three way tie for last on the list of capabilities of this administration. Nothing I have seen since January 2009 has changed that assessment.

It was always a “bright spot” because the Ministry of Information knew it is the easiest category to manipulate. Obama has had exactly zero foreign policy triumphs that the MoI hasn't invented.
