I remember when SARS was supposed to kill us all.
It did. This is just the aftermath.
SAR is like a common cold compared to ebola. Mortality rates for it are 60-90 percent.
I guess it still can but the bigger worry now is MERS:

SARS was mostly theoretical at a time people were looking for something to get hysterical about.
Ebola is real, is killing a lot of people now, is spreading now, and we’re under an administration which seems hell-bent on getting a major infection loose here. And I’m a half hour drive from a probable Ground Zero.
