The reports from Israel right now don’t make a lot of sense.
The rocket fire continues in large numbers, there are still lots of tunnels intact (regardless of Israeli statements), and the Hamas leadership remains untouched.
If Netanyahu is in full retreat mode a day after an Israeli soldier was kidnapped, he is finished politically.
We could be watching a massive deception.

Hardly. He’s trying to *save* himself politically. He has governs from the left. He was never going to finish the job.
Don’t forget there was a massive disagreement between Netanyahu and Obama (as displayed by the phone call transcript).
Finally the ceasefire pressure is gone because of the captured soldier (that happened during the Kerry ceasefire), and Israel is going to retreat anyway?

If he’s dead, where is his body? The body just didn’t walk away..it would have been in the same general area where the ambush happened, wouldn’t it? This is the same Hamas who also denied they had anything to do with the kidnapping of the three Israeli teens, yet we know that is a lie..the Hamas leader in Turkey says they ordered it
I hope it is deception. If not then it is just Israel kicking the can down the road a little more, and this time it will only be a very little way down that road.
Polls taken days ago show 87% of Israelis oppose a ceasefire. That number can only be higher following the kidnapping of Hadar Goldin.
Is Netanyahu going to withdraw while the rocket fire continues and abandon the soldier so he can trade him for a 1000 prisoners like Gilad Shalit?
If this is a real withdraw and not a deception he is finished!

Just heard the press conference, he will not stop looking for this IDF soldier..the question is where is he, maybe he is being kept in the same place they had the three Israeli teens..but since Gaza is so wide and so many twists and turns he can be anywhere
