I was thinking the same thing. Why are people cringing at this? In a way, he's likely more right than he'll admit. While he's trying to imply racism, in reality, white people still consist of a majority of this nation's racial make up. So yes, Alcee Hastings, white people are to blame, and you won't find too many who are willing stand down for that.

Alcee, here is my message to you. Black people are to blame for crime in the United States per capita. Why can’t you address that problem.
We sure do not need more Cartels coming into the USA in an open border to sell Black Youth more Drugs, to create more crime. Wake up Alcee quit trying to create more problems through ignorance.
The biggest obstacle to black employment and education right now is the influx of illegal Latinos. And he’s too dumb to know.
