The growing confrontation between Washington and Moscow over Ukraine has derailed a recent accord that promised one of the most expansive collaborations ever between the countries nuclear scientists, including reciprocal visits to atomic sites to work on projects ranging from energy to planetary defense.
U.S. officials and experts say the decision will limit how much each side knows about the others capabilities and intentions after more than two decades in which American and Russian nuclear scientists worked alongside one another. Those programs let once-bitter rivals, locked in the ultimate arms race, take each others measure and deepen relationships, reducing the chances for deadly miscalculation and technological surprise.

Let me guess.. Barry will unilaterally scrap our remaining nuclear defenses while Russia leaves hers unchanged. This is insane and deadly for America which means I’m probably right.

The Russians under Putin can no more be trusted with a nuclear deal than they can with telling us the serial number of that SAM that their surrogates fired at MH17.
The Russians don’t need to play that nuclear race frozen tag with Americans. They have Eric Snowden among several ongoing spies, moles and paid off turncoats. They are also in partnership with the Chinese, who as we know have numerous spies throughout the world’s of academia, medicine and security. So let’s skip the dog and pony show this time.
