Singapore would execute anyone for that exact crime. Most SE Asian nations has zero-tolerance policies toward drugs and it is well-known to travellers. Stupid games, stupid prizes.

That's true.I remember almost needing a change of underwear the first time I traveled to Singapore and saw in the Immigration hall a sign in several languages saying "death penalty for drug smugglers".And all I had with me was my blood pressure meds and my baby aspirin!
I'd have far,far more trust in the court proceedings in Singapore than those in China.
