He introduced legislation calling for the impeachment of Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush. González also blocked hearings into Whitewater until finally agreeing to hold hearings in 1994.
I think Henry B. did this about once a month when he was still with us.

I remember lots of discussion on the air waves about a group of Democrats who were pushing for impeachment, They were the same group who were always trying to get rid of VP Cheney.

Dick Cheney was GWB’s insurance against impeachment. As long as Cheney was in office, all talk of impeaching the President was kept at a low level.

You ought to remember that Nixon’s VP, Spiro Agnew was forced out of office and replaced by Gerald Ford. Once that occurred, the libs began the chant about impeaching the President. In the end, we had a POTUS and VPOTUS who were not elected to their positions, in effect, a coup by the Democrats.
