So much for the notion that Iraqi Kurds are doughty warriors, I reckon! It may be that Iran is the last viable line of defense against the Islamic State, as bizarre and unsavory as that would be.
The Yazidi have already fled to the mountains with little food or other supplies. ISIS requires its captives to convert to its brand of Islam. The Yazidi are very devoted to their religion and it is predicted many will be killed. ISIS is also trying to capture a major hydroelectric dam, which I believe the Kurds are trying to protect. The electric is essential to many Iraquis and for AC, and this is the HOT season.
Saudi financing of the Madrassas all over the world, teaching the most backward, primative version of Islam is a major curse to all humanity, and especially Muslim women.
Iran IS the Islamic state right now! Said is too_corrupt to support.
And The house of saud is nothing more than the Taliban with money.

Are the media and mediots not referring to ISIS as IS?
It can always get worse in the Middle East, and when regimes in predominantly Muslim countries fall, it does. Just ask Iraq’s Christians and Yazidis.
