You are accusing the professionals who have worked in full containment biohazard suits for their whole professional lives with being sloppy.

BTW whenever you are anyone is dealing with anything that you don’t have any personal first hand knowledge about - you are bound to err on the side of prudence i.e. you assume it is airborne until you find out otherwise - or you will assume room temperature sooner than you expect

There are different levels of biohazard gear and VERY different degrees of adherence to safety procedures between field and lab. Published photos of actual suits used in tents and outdoor holding pens DO NOT show "full containment biohazard suits" -- they show layered garments with varying degrees of protection. I have seen missing masks and eye coverage.

Dressing down and decontamination is one of the most dangerous phases of the whole operation. Especially when it is hot as hades and the medical personnel have lost a lot of fluids and can't wait to get out of the suit.
The act of spraying will send the virus flying off the suits and landing on anyone or anything nearby. It’s the same principal of washing raw chicken is now being reversed. They’re now telling us to not wash raw chicken as that will spred salmonela around your kitchen. The least amount of common sense told many not to believe the gov about that but it took all these years before they admitted they were wrong.
