TV game show host Pat Sajak of Wheel of Fortune fame weighed in on the Democrat Partys obsession with the Washington Redskins team name suddently being racist after decades of not being offensive.
Thursday on Twitter, Sajak mocked the lefts faux outrage, perhaps even taking a stab at Democrat Senator Harry Reid, by tweeting that he was offended by the NHL team the Ottawa Senators.
Sajak wrote on his Twitter account, A nations capital should not have a team with such an offensive nickname. Please NHL, no more Ottawa Senators. On July 30, Sajak took a shot at Obama Secretary of State John Kerry: The man knows his baseball. The 62 Mets finished with a win-loss record of 40-120.
In June, I asked if Harry Reid will tell this 100% Navajo Indian High School that their Redskins mascot is racist? Were still waiting for the answer.
Sajak is a national treasure
The team should be ashamed of their name with the way Congress has been acting these past few years.
I found it kind of Ironic that the Detroit Tigers have announced that September 14th will be Jewish heritage day at Comerica park. They’re playing the Indians on that day.
I like him.....however, what does a Canadian team have anything at all to do with us. We can’t force Canada to do anything. It would have been more effective had he picked an American Team.
My high school had the name of Senators. Strange but true. The town was also named after a Nebraska U.S. Senator not a Tennessee one.
In the words of Rhode Island Red, Its a joke son, its a joke.
Yieks! Nobody has accused me of being a scholar....lol.
Gotta love Pat, the only game show host that had a personality.
He is, I met him him once in Manhattan in the late 1980s in the street and called out his name “Pat Sajak!” and he actually walked up to me and shook my hand, I couldn’t believe it. I was like “Hummina hummina bah bah I like wheel of fortune” and he suggested a photo and his assistant and/or wife took a pic of me and my gf with him. He even asked me what I did for a living LOL! He is beyond cool, just the greatest guy and the best part was later on I found out he was a vet and a conservative, so the lightbulb went off in my head! “Ah hah! That is why he is cool!”
I think the Washington Senators became the Minnesota Twins in 1961.
I haven’t followed baseball for a few years (actually decades), is there still a team named the Washington Senators?
And, then, the second Washington Senators became the Texas Rangers in 1972.
No. The Montreal Expos relocated to DC and became the Washington Nationals.
Hmmm who knew he went to veterinary school?
In related news. U of Minnesota President is looking to ban the use of “Redskins” when the Vikings play them this season.

I graduated from this place in 2005. In fact I attended Wellstone’s “memorial” service held here. It is a good school, but.......
