The Gateway Pundit can now confirm from two local St. Louis sources that police Officer Darren Wilson suffered facial fractures during his confrontation with deceased 18 year-old Michael Brown. Officer Wilson clearly feared for his life during the incident that led to the shooting death of Brown. This was after Michael Brown and his accomplice Dorian Johnson robbed a local Ferguson convenience store.
Local St. Louis sources said Wilson suffered an “orbital blowout fracture to the eye socket.” This comes from a source within the District Attorney’s office and confirmed by the St. Louis County Police.

I teach in my CCW class. Do not fire warning shots, do not fire maiming shots (unless necessary), AND NEVER, EVER DO YOU shoot "to kill". You shoot to live. Only shoot enought to stop the threat. Reload, re-evaluate, when safe call the police. And yes, the DO will ask you if you shot to kill. Your answer is, "No, I shot to live......

Even Michael Baden said he thought six shots was excessive. I thought he would have to just report his findings in the autopsy, not render his views on the shooting itself. He was wrong to make that statement in my view.

Different people have different pain thresholds. I once got wiped out skiing and shattered my right should (”jigsaw fracture”). Ski patrol did not secure me properly and I got dumped down the ski run. They ran up to me and said if I was OK. I literally laughed. Thought I was nuts or in shock. I was neither. Just said, “what else can I do.”
I am allergic to all OTC pain killers and do not like the prescription ones, so I have learned how to sublimate all but the most severe pain such as post-OP. It can be done.

Because reporters are not inherently exempted/immune to riot control efforts. The cops want the mob off the street; they’re not going to check individual credentials and make phone calls for confirmation, politely spending 10-60 minutes evaluating whether someone is there for journalistic purposes ... when a line of armored cops throwing tear gas at the mob shout “move! leave!” you do so.
BTW: those “reporters” were literally associates of the propaganda arm of Al Qaida. (Somehow that group has been developing into a grudgingly respectable news outlet, but it’s still fundamentally the mouthpiece of terrorists.) Their basic goal is not objective news reporting, but looking for content usable for libelous anti-American purposes.

.........heard a fact on the tube a day or so ago. It was that currently, when you include all the cities you named, the U.S. is in approximately the top 3 most dangerous places in the world as far as murder rate is concerned.
When you take out all the cities you named, and their murders, the U.S. is about the safest country in the world to live in!
