I questioned that too. That one statistic seems bogus, bringing into question the rest.
They also have a high rate of alcoholism.
I suspect that has something to do with it.

The number of homosexuals that are alcoholics would play into that statistic. Drug use could also be a factor.
Breaking up by text while driving?
It’s probably related to the high rate of alcohol and drug addiction. Which translates into drunk driving or some kind of mental inhibition while driving high.
