Hugging trees can be dangerous.
All trees should be totally wiped out! If it saves one queer ...
Miserable trees with that “fruit” that drops. They are all over GA and apparently all of the south. You can easily break a leg, foot or ankle by stepping on one of the “bombs” that drop. Your feet just roll out from under you. They’re dreadful. Retired to GA from CA and can’t say I ever saw them in CA. I despise them. I KNEW they were no good....
“”Sweet gum is one of the main valuable forest trees in the southeastern United States, and is a popular ornamental tree in temperate climates. It is recognizable by the combination of its five-pointed star-shaped leaves and its hard, spiked fruits””
Hmmm.... HIV vs. Sweet Gum trees. Look for an edict to eradicate Sweet Gum trees to protect HIV sufferers.
well, I don’t know about that, it is NPR
This is a great argument when dealing with the “save a tree, don’t use paper” idiots.
There’s a neighborhood in Virginia that was built in the 70’s and the developer made it a rule that trees were never to be cut down unless rubbing up against a house. Now all the trees are over grown, there’s disease throughout the trees and the homes have mold issues. Animals are getting sick etc. Trees NEED to be trimmed back, cut down. They need to breathe.
This is settled science, and it is for AIDS carriers!
Only one thing to do!
KILL ALL THE TREES IN CALIFORNIA! The sooner the better!!!
Queers die from Killer Trees!!
Where’s the warning:
When messing with knotholes wear protection
California... incubator of AIDS, and of nature’s cure. /S
“Hugging trees can be dangerous.”
Send all the ‘greenies’ to Kalifornia...
...oh, wait, they are mostly in Kalifornia...
If they die it is okay because Mother Gaia is doing it.
“the happening” is happening...
This article demonstrates the incredible stupidity of NPR and liberals. Only for that reason should it not be pulled, as it is as junk science and bad investigation &analysis as climate change.
The author links to a prior NPR piece from 4 years ago but claims “that was a different strain”, while the article clearly states the opposite.
Furthermore, they run around, swab trees and proclaim, “It came from trees!!!”, take credit and ignore the most pressing question of all:
If the fungus originated in tropical areas, was initially “discovered” in Vancouver, BC and is now in CA...
...gee...I wonder how that happened.
I know the answer (imho); I’ll leave that for debate as it’s really one of only a few points of discussion that should result from this incredibly bad piece of “journalism”...
Do these trees hate gays or something?!? RACIST!!!!!
