Exactly. I wonder if they’ll come up with a “cure” for it like they did for AIDS, in which raping a virgin child will cure them?

When I see articles like this, I really don’t know whether to believe them or not. Having a big crisis and getting lots of funding go hand in hand for CDC and NGO’s. Could be a big crisis. But my faith in the honesty of public servants when money is on the line has been badly damaged by global warming “science.”

Ebola is a horrible way to die.

However, for a little perspective:

“Ebola has killed more than 1,500 people this year and the World Health Organization says there could be as many as 20,000 cases before the outbreak is brought under control.”

Back in the 1980’s measles killed 35,000 children each year in Kenya alone.

“In 2012, 10,322 people died in drunk driving crashes - See more at: http://www.madd.org/drunk-driving/about/drunk-driving-statistics.html#sthash.GYHrBpiU.dpuf";

“In 2011, approximately 1.06 million abortions took place in the U.S.,”

I can enter a bar full of drunks and leave without becoming drunk. You can't make the same claim of a room full of people infected with Ebola. There are doctors taking all the prudent precautions and getting infected anyway.

Wonder what happens when it hits a city full of bed-bugs?

You get another vector in play. Mosquitoes, fleas and ticks are also possible vectors for blood-borne viruses.

Malaria kills way more people. Exponentially more.

Just watched that movie on TV this weekend. Lots of reminders in that movie.

That’s not much comfort, since most of the world has little to no exposure to this virus. With a 50% to 90% mortatlity rate, and little to no effect measures against it, it would certainly have more deaths if it was wide spread.

To take one of your examples, 50-90% of the drunks 3 weeks ago did not get sick and die from their binge.

And all we need from he U. S. is $500 billion.

Bingo! We've got a winner.

More people will die from ingrown toenails this year than from Ebola.
