Meanwhile, Russia’s military is small and weakened in several ways, and many Russians are against Russian military action and conscription. Back then, there were plenty of strong Christian Russians to keep the Muslims in check. Whereas now the non-muslim population of Russia is rapidly decreasing, while the Muslim population is rapidly increasing.
